POF USA Wins Rifle of the Year from the Industry Choice Awards for the Third Year in a Row

Thursday, June 20th, 2019

(06/18/2019) Phoenix, Arizona – And the winner is… Patriot Ordnance Factory is proud to announce taking home the Rifle of the Year award from the 2019 Firearms Industry Choice Awards for their Revolution DI rifle. POF-USA was honored to attend and thanks everyone involved in the awards process, as well as congratulating the other winners.

The Revolution DI (Direct Impingement) shares features, advancements, and technology of the prior award winning Revolution PD (Piston Driven) with one distinct difference, its operation. The direct impingement operation allows for a smaller profile handguard, lighter weight, and 9 positions of adjustment thanks to the DIctator gas block.

POF-USA broke from the industry status quo by making an AR15 that shoots .308. It is important to note that the Revolution DI is not an AR10, or even a small frame AR10. The Revolution DI is the same size as an AR15. The Revolution DI is built on the unique and fully ambidextrous Gen 4 lower, produced with 100% American made raw materials and coatings, and state-of-the-art technology. Like another award winning POF-USA rifle, the Renegade+, the upper receiver is engineered around their unique heat sink barrel nut, 9-position adjustable DIctator gas block, a match-grade barrel, and Renegade M-LOK rail with 4 built in QD sling mount points.

POF-USA is proud to continue leading the MSR market with their feature-packed ultimate fighting machines.

POF-USA is an Arizona-based small arms manufacturer known for its revolutionary concepts and radical approaches to engineering used to develop the finest piston driven AR-type rifles used by civilians and professionals worldwide. They accept no compromise in the building of their product, known as “Patriot” designs. They will only produce that which is tough, accurate, modular, durable, and true. This patriotic mission is brought from passion, authenticity, trustworthiness, rebellion, independence and objectivity.

U.S. Pistol Athletes Named to 2019 Pan American Games Team

Thursday, June 20th, 2019

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – June 13, 2019) –

Seven U.S. Pistol athletes, including four Olympians, have earned the opportunity to compete for Team USA at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The XVIII Pan American Games will be contested July 26 – August 11 and will feature over 6,500 athletes from 41 nations.

Athletes were determined based on results of the 2019 Spring Selection Match that took place March 25-30 in Fort Benning, Georgia.

Previously earning quotas by winning the 2018 Championship of the Americas was Alexis Lagan (Boulder City, Nevada) and James Hall (Colombia, Missouri) in Women’s Sport Pistol and Men’s Air Pistol.  Given that there are still quotas needing to be obtained in each of those events, Lagan and Hall both declined their invitation to participate, freeing up spots for their teammates to go and try to earn a quota. Lagan won Spring Selection while Hall was second.  Earlier this year, Henry Leverett (Bainbridge, Georgia) earned a quota in Men’s Rapid Fire Pistol after a fifth-place finish at a World Cup in Beijing, China. He finished second at the Spring Selection Match, but would give up his spot after the achievement.

The Pan American Games will be a critically important match to a pistol program eager to prove itself with a mix of young and proven talent. In search of five Olympic quotas, Team USA will include three-time Olympian Keith Sanderson (Colorado Springs, Colorado) competing in Rapid Fire Pistol, 2016 Olympian Jay Shi (Phoenix, Arizona) competing in Men’s Air Pistol, and 2012 Olympians Nick Mowrer (Butte, Montana) and Sandra Uptagrafft (Phenix City, Alabama) competing in Men’s Air Pistol and Women’s Sport Pistol respectively.

Joining this veteran squad is two-time Pan Am Games participant Nathalia Tobar (East Northport, New York) competing in both Air and Sport Pistol, Miglena Todorova (Miranda, California) setting her sights on Air Pistol, and 19-year-old Jackson Leverett (Bainbridge, Georgia) competing alongside Sanderson in Rapid Fire Pistol. Todorova and Mowrer will team up together in the Mixed Team Air Pistol event.

Sanderson will be making his first appearance at the Pan American Games since 2007 when he earned silver in the Rio de Janeiro. The 44-year-old has competed in four World Championships and 50 World Cup matches, earning medals in 10 of them.

Mowrer is a 2012 Olympian in the now discontinued event of Free Pistol that will be competing in his third Pan American Games and looking for his first Pan Am medal after previous finishes of fifth, sixth and ninth. He finished fifth at the Championship of the Americas in 2018.

Shi, Uptagrafft, Tobar and Todorova proudly represent Team USA as naturalized citizens. Shi was born in Beijing, China and finished 18th in Air Pistol at the 2016 Olympic Games. He helped earned his spot to Rio de Janeiro by placing second in the event at the 2015 Pan Am Games and earning the Olympic quota for Team USA.

Uptagrafft was born in Singapore and will be competing in her fifth-straight Pan Am Games, having previously earned gold medals in Sport Pistol in 2003 and 2007 while earning silver in 2011 and 2015 and adding a bronze medal in Air Pistol as well in 2011. She finished third at the Championship of The Americas in 2018 in Sport Pistol.

Tobar competed for the Columbian National Team through 2011 before becoming a U.S. citizen.  She has participated in two previous Pan American Games in 2003 and 2007, earning a bronze medal in Sport Pistol at the 2003 Pan Ams in the Dominican Republic. Her father, Bernardo, is a Columbian shooting legend, having competed in four Olympic Games and finishing sixth in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.

Todorova competed for Bulgaria as recently as 2006, participating in two World Championships. She finished second at the 2002 World Cup in Milano.

Henry Leverett declining his chance to compete in Peru opens up the chance for his older brother, who finished third at the Spring Selection Match in Rapid Fire Pistol.  Jackson finished 12th at a World Cup event in 2018 and was eighth at Championship of the Americas.

The Pan American Games are the world’s third-largest international multi-sport Games featuring athletes from countries in the Americas. The first Pan Am Games were held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1951, and are held every four years. From July 27-August 3, shooting competition will take place at the Las Palmas Air Base. The U.S. Shooting Team earned 13 medals (four gold, six silver, three bronze) at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada.

Enoch Industries Introduces the ODIN Chassis System, a Lightweight Chassis for the 10/22 Platform

Wednesday, June 19th, 2019

Spring Creek, TN, June 17, 2019 – Enoch Industries, designer and developer of top-tier firearm components, has recently unveiled their first product, the ODIN Chassis System, a lightweight and versatile system for the 10/22 platform. Weighing in at only 12.2 oz, this chassis system incorporates current AR-15 attachment standards, giving users a new level of function that standard 10/22 platforms fail to deliver.

The only 10/22 chassis available on the market with a Picatinny rail at the back, the ODIN Chassis System provides a better option for attaching a new standard of stocks and pistol braces. This flexibility features a smaller footprint and offers considerable weight savings over the standard receiver extension and buttstock combos. Machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, The ODIN Chassis System provides a rigid, no-compromise platform for building or upgrading a precision rifle or pack-lite pistol.

“This new chassis fills the gap in the market for a lightweight, modular system for the 10/22 platform,” said Joseph Sudderth, CEO of Enoch Industries. “While on the hunt for a lightweight chassis to upgrade a 10/22, we couldn’t find anything on the market that fit the bill. So we set out to design one that provided the flexibility and versatility that we needed, and the ODIN Chassis System was born.”

The ODIN Chassis System is designed to give competition shooters and 10/22 enthusiasts the freedom to customize their build for any number of unique setups. In the front of the chassis, MLok slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock allow for the addition of a variety of accessories while two steel, 360° quick disconnects on both sides of the chassis are ideal for running sling attachments. The ODIN Chassis System includes a grip adapter that closes the gap from the grip to trigger housing, keeping the transition to a minimum and providing a more enjoyable shooting experience. The chassis accepts all non-beavertail AR-15 grips, although some beavertail grips are compatible with minor modifications to the grip. The ODIN Chassis System also fits all standard, non-takedown receivers excluding the Supergrade. Other notable ODIN Chassis System specs include:

• Material: 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum

• Weight: 12.22 oz (including all hardware)

• Dimensions: 12.75” (L), 1.5” (W), 1.5” (H)

• Stocks: 3 Picatinny slots at the rear of chassis

• Attachments: MLok slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock

• QD Inserts: 2 nitrided 360° steel inserts

• Barrel channel inner dimension: 1.015″

• Barrel lengths: Using a 6″ barrel brings the threaded muzzle to .575″ past the handguard, exposing threads for silencers.

The new ODIN Chassis System is available online to customers in the US (excluding Puerto Rico) for an MSRP of $225 and includes the ODIN Chassis in anodized black along with all required hardware.
