MLK: A Timeless Message

Monday, January 15th, 2024

The US civil rights movement saw many defining moments throughout the 1950s and 1960s, with significant achievements in 1964 with the Civil Rights Act, and in 1965 with the Voting Rights Act. Throughout this era, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. became synonymous with the social and political struggle in pursuit of equality and freedom for all people to “live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Throughout this time, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. impacted millions of lives during his travels across the country, sometimes through simple acts of kindness to strangers.

In 1967, one of those strangers was a young flight attendant on a United Airlines flight between New York and Atlanta, our Co-Founder and Chairman, Nancy E. Meyers…

Magpul Introduces Metal Magazines

Monday, January 15th, 2024

Well, it had to happen eventually. The company founded on polymer magazines has introduced…metal magazines. Some firearms have magwells too small for polymer magazines, like the SIG P320.

The AMAG 17 SG9 is a 17-round SIG P320 9mm handgun magazine featuring a heat-treated, stainless-steel alloy body with polymer sub-components. Magpul AMAGs come with many of our proven features, including a high-visibility, controlled-tilt follower, stainless-steel spring, flared floorplate that’s easily removable for cleaning and routine maintenance, paint-pen dot matrix for magazine marking, and capacity-indicator windows which begin at five (5) rounds, and continue along the spine of the magazine in one-round increments.

Introducing the Atibal P1 Solar 1x Micro Prism

Monday, January 15th, 2024

The patent pending Atibal P1 is the first solar power illuminated laser etched reticle reflex optic.

Traditional reflex optics project the reticle against a plane of glass. The P1 utilizes a laser etched illuminated reticle which is much clearer and sharper than projected dots. These features eliminate reticle “splash” or “flare” many deal with from projected illumination.

The illuminated reticle is apparent with or without battery power. The patent pending technologies allow for the solar power to amplify and enhance the traditional battery power. The solar illumination is activated based on battery condition. As the battery degrades the P1 is designed to automatically compensate in a method we call “Solar Failsafe”. The Atibal Solar Failsafe adjusts reticle intensity during low battery power to conserve power.  The P1 automatically adjusts reticle brightness based on the amount of power the battery has and the solar cell creates.

Solar Failsafe allows for brighter conditions, to provide a brighter reticle. While in low-light situations, the reticle softly steps down its intensity to perfectly match any lighting conditions. These features allow the P1 to have industry leading battery life of 30,000 hours and beyond. With Solar failsafe, you never have to worry about your battery dying because you always have a reliable backup power source whenever there’s natural or artificial light.

The P1 is the ideal size and weight for short range and close quarters engagements. The P1 has a “no-snag” design and its exceptionally small size and weight allows maximum agility in tight spaces. With “Shake Awake” illumination and a large eyebox are key advantages when speed and accuracy are paramount.

The P1 includes a picatinny rail compatible mount set at an ideal height for most applications. It also utilizes the Aimpoint T1/T2 footprint to maximize options for additional mounting uses.

The patent pending P1 Solar 1x Micro Prism offers unmatched clarity, features, durability, and value.

The reticle is designed so that the 65 MOA outer ring can be used to rapidly frame the target until the center dot is realized and a confident shot can be placed. The uncluttered sight picture along with the both eyes open operation of the P1 enable the shooter to better observe the impact area and place accurate follow up shots rapidly when needed, all the while maintaining good situational awareness.

Introducing the Second Generation of Lindnerhof’s PA Magazine Pouch Series

Monday, January 15th, 2024

LENGGRIES, GERMANY (12 January 2024) – Lindnerhof-Taktik today introduced the second generation of the PA Magazine Pouch Series.

These updated products come with a wide range of enhancements and adjustments to meet current industry standards. Some of the key innovations include a redesigned construction, alpha tabs on all pouches instead of sewn-on pull handles, and the convenience of adjusting or removing the elastic cord strap on the outside of the pouch without disassembling it.

To improve functionality, the back of the pouches now features MX material with laser-cut slots and slim 20mm PALS straps. This not only reduces the weight of the pouches by approximately 5-10%, but also allows easier mounting, especially on reinforced systems like the Curv belts, compared to the previous 25mm strap.

The pouches with an external MOLLE/PALS system for attaching additional pouches (except for PA004 & PA158) have been upgraded with 20mm straps. This change not only reduces weight compared to the previously used 25mm straps, but also creates a more cohesive look when used with modern systems like the LT042/II plate carrier from Lindnerhof.

Additionally, Lindnerhof-Taktik has made some improvements to the color matrix in order to achieve a more attractive appearance. Previously, the 3fb and 5fb flecktarn versions featured single-colored MOLLE/PALS straps, such as stonegrey on the 5fb flecktarn variant. In the second generation of PA Magazine Pouches, the straps have been replaced with camouflage ones that perfectly match the pattern.

The new generation of the PA Magazine Pouch Series offers a variety of models, including magazine pouches and panels for rifles such as the HK417, multi-caliber pouches, as well as magazine pouches for pistols.

The available models are as follows:

• Double Rifle Magazine Pouch PA001/2

• Single Rifle Magazine Pouch PA002/2

• Double Rifle Magazine Panel PA494/2

• Triple Rifle Magazine Panel PA098/2

• Multicaliber Pouch PA119/II

• Single HK417 Magazine Pouch PA091/2

• Double HK417 Magazine Panel PA093/2

• Single Pistol Mag Pouch PA004-1/II
