Monday, November 20th, 2017November 17, 2017 (Redmond, WA) – B.E. Meyers’ MAWL, GLARE, and IZLID series of lasers will be on display at the SCOPEX exhibit (booth #L060) on November 21-24, at Milipol Paris 2017.
B.E. Meyers’ Modular Advanced Weapon Laser (MAWL), a high power infrared and visible green aiming and illumination laser for individual carbines, offers improved ergonomics, interface, and performance. The MAWL-DA has been designed from the ground up around the evolved needs of the modern night fighter and is currently in use and deployed on operations with both Tier 1 Special Forces, and internal security agencies in the U.S., Europe, and other nations.
The LA-22/U (formerly known as the GLARE RECOIL), was selected by MARCORSYSCOM as the sole source Hail and Warning device for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Ocular Interruption Systems (OIS) program. It features B.E. Meyers’ patented SmartRange™ technology that utilizes laser range finding and near-field detection to self-regulate power output. The result is controlled EyeSafe™ irradiance in addition to maximum permissible exposure on target. B.E. Meyers & Co. also offers a class 1M variant of the LA-22/U, the GLARE HELIOS.
Also displayed at the SCOPEX exhibit will be the IZLID series of lasers for Pointing and Illumination, including the IZLID Ultra. The IZLID Ultra is currently the standard for JTAC use. Featuring a beam bright enough to communicate with high-altitude aircraft, it excels even under conditions containing high ambient light.

Altama Maritime Assaults – Military Morons Edition

Yesterday, I received this note from Military Morons.
As you may guess, the Altama Maritime Assaults have been my favourite everyday wear footwear, for many reasons.
A couple of months ago, I thought it’d be cool to have some Altama Maritime Assaults in an OD/Black colour scheme, inspired by the classic Vietnam Jungle Boots. I asked them about it and they liked that idea, and put in the order for the samples. I also requested that these come without the large pull loops in the back. They went a step further and put my militarymorons skull logo on my one-of-a-kind samples.
Whether these eventually become a collaborative special edition, or a standard colour offering from Altama, I thought you might like to throw these pics up on SSD.

215 Gear Opens Pre-Orders For 2 New Products
Friday, November 17th, 2017215 Gear has added two new belt systems, available now for pre-order; the Uber Rigger’s Belt and the Uber Shooter’s Belt. Both are a combination of features from competition shooting and tried and tested features already built into their Ultimate Riggers Belts. 215 Gear feels these are by far, the most feature packed belts on the market.
Designed to be worn alone or as part if a system with their inner Uber Liner Belt, the Uber Riggers Belt incorporates an internal plastic stiffener and PALS channels to the outside. The Austrialpin Cobra Buckle has a custom wide mouth version of the friction adapter, allowing for easier removal from the belt, eliminating the fight of most other belts, and reducing the peeling off of the sewn in Velcro. Additionally, rather than the parachute v-ring, 215 Gear uses a sewn-in attachment point.
215 Gear’s Uber Shooters Belt combines the best characteristics of sport shooting with the functionality of MOLLE. It is similar in construction to the Uber Riggers Belt except that it doesn’t feature the sewn-in attachment point.
Both belts are available in MultiCam, Khaki and Black and in sizes to accommodate waists 25″ to 45″. The pre-order is open now and will close 11DEC17, with the pre-orders shipping 12DEC17, just in time for Christmas.
