S&S Precision has developed several accessories specifically for use with the PlateFrame.
In addition to welded shoulder and cummerbund straps, they have introduced several specialists pouches made from advanced materials such as 2-way stretch and LiteLok. These include pouches for side plates, magazines, and radios, with more to come.

The S & S Precision Plate Frame featuring their SOCS (Stretchy Outer Cover System) was filmed in Colombia during the recent Fuerzas Comando 2012 competition. The SOCS is not only covering the plate in a MultiCam print but it also provides a protective covering for the hard plate as well as soft armor which is necessary for the threat level protection of his armor package. The SOCS are available in MultiCam, tan, and black.
Early this Fall, the US Army will field 100 Female Cut Gen III IOTV for the 101st Airborne Division’s Female Engagement Teams serving in Afghanistan.
The female version features a slightly different cut to accommodate differences in body shapes.
Mayflower produced this custom rig for a client. It includes a LiteLok APC (with custom mesh cummerbund), LiteLok Assault Back Panel, MRC Frag Pouches, MRC Double 7.62 Mag Pouch, Velocity SSE Pouch, custom MRC front panel and an Eagle 152 Radio Pouch.
What’s cool about this is that improvements and new products start out as custom items.

The STEGO Modular Armor System is a tactical building set consisting of blocks that provide up to NIJ Level IV 30-06 AP protection. The locks are connected using attached detent pins and can be assembled into a wide variety of configurations. Each kit consists of a total of 60 locks of four different types.
Base block
Provides structural support and a solid foundation for uneven surfaces, as well as immediate armored protection for personnel.
Armor block
These blocks offer full armor protection and are used most frequently.
Weapons port block
Opens to allow the user to engage outside threats and transfer items through the armor system.
Window block
Features user-replaceable ballistic glass to allow the user to identify approaching threats and opens to transfer

Velocity Systems has just released this new logo on Facebook. They’ve also announced that they are licensing the Helium Whisper technology from Blue Force Gear. We wonder what else they’ve got in store.
