Warrior East 18 – Belleville Boots Introduce Vibram’s Arctic Grip Anti-Slip Technology

Belleville Boots is the first company to integrate a Berry Compliant version of Vibram’s Arctic Grip Wet Ice Tech.

Initially introduced the commercial market at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market a few years ago, the sole offers stability on ice as well as oily surfaces. The active components are a slightly darker brown in the photo below. The first boot with this sole will be the C775ST, a Cold Weather, safety toed boot with 600 grams of Thinsulate.

S&S Precision Shop Show – OTB Boots RIB Sandal and Abyss III Preview

The RIB Sandal is a true boat shoe. Modeled on a rigid inflatable boat, it’s actually a recovery sandal, with its thick cushion sole and slide styling.

This is the third iteration of the shoe that launched OTB boots. Harking back to the brand’s roots of Over The Beach, the Abyss III features a sticky climbing rubber sole and rand, heel notch for fins, and knit construction upper.

GoRuck Launches MACV-1 Jungle Rucking Boot

A few years ago, GoRuck released a clothing line, designed for those who participate in their various events. The clothing was a great companion for their highly successful pack line. Now, they’ve introduced a boot.

GoRuck assembled a team of three Special Forces Veterans with experience spanning over five decades to create a boot worthy of the company’s name. Weighing in at 14 oz (per boot), these ankle height boots, like the GI Jungle Boots which inspired them, are not waterproof.

These boots are made for walking. Just take a gander at the construction features.

Offered in a wide variety of sizes from 4-14, the MACV-1 ships in October.

Salewa Mountain Trooper

Based on the Mountain Trainer Mid Leather, Salewa’s Mountain Trooper is the same booth expect that it is all black, eyelets have replaced the lace hooks and there is no metal or wires.

I saw it during a recent trip to Canada for Rampart Range Day, where apparently there’s been some serious interest.
