This annual event, hosted by Do Something Extraordinary Golf Club, aims to support at-risk students in Lexington by fostering meaningful connections with local first responders and veterans.

Lexington, Ken. (October 2024) – GALLS, LLC®, the nation’s leading supplier serving America’s public safety and military professionals, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 5th Annual Force on the Course, taking place on Nov. 2, 2024, at Tates Creek Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky. The event is hosted by the Do Something Extraordinary Golf Club and aims to support at-risk students in Lexington by fostering meaningful connections with local first responders and veterans through STEM learning and a day of golfing. Sponsorship of the event and team registration are still available.

Force on the Course is a community event designed to connect students with local heroes, including first responders and veterans, providing an opportunity to learn how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) contributes to community safety. In addition to the educational aspect, participants will enjoy a complimentary 18-hole round of golf made possible by generous sponsors.

• $500 Silver Sponsor: includes a team of four, logos on event shirts, and lunch.

• $150 Hole Sponsor: showcase your company with signage at one of the holes.

Teams of four are invited to participate in the scramble, and Local Hero Teams, made up of first responders and veterans volunteering with students, can join free of charge.

The event kicks off at 9:00 am with participant check-in and a welcome session, followed by a STEM-focused activity for students. The golf scramble will begin at noon and continue until 5:00 pm, ending with an awards ceremony.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the community to support local students and honor first responders and veterans. All proceeds from the event will go toward initiatives benefitting at-risk youth.

GRINNELL, IA – Task Force Expedition (TFE) is proud to announce Brownells as the Title Sponsor for TFE’s inaugural campaign to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. As a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Task Force Expedition is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for military, first responder, and Second Amendment related nonprofits. Without Brownells generous support, the creation of Task Force Expedition would not have been possible. 

From June 27 to July 8, TFE embarked on its inaugural expedition to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. This “once in a lifetime” adventure was documented by Prelude Films and will be turned into a feature-length documentary to be released this Fall. The expedition was funded entirely by industry sponsors and each sponsor was paired with a nonprofit organization to form a team. With their Title Sponsorship, Brownells teamed up with Special Operations Wounded Warrior, also known as SOWW. Other teams included the American Suppressor Association Foundation, Frontline Healing Foundation, Special Operations Care Fund, and a nonprofit in the UK that supports members of an elite British Special Forces unit.

The adventure itself wasn’t a competition, but the five teams competed to see who could raise the most funding through public donations By the end of the year, the funds raised by Task Force Expedition will be pooled together and equally distributed among selected nonprofits.

LONOKE, Ark. – July 11, 2024 – Remington Ammunition will be hosting its 3rd Annual Shoot to Cure sporting clays fundraiser on September 20, 2024. This exciting event brings together the outdoor industry, local Arkansas businesses and professional shooters from Team Remington to support the Arkansas Children’s Foundation as well as children’s hospitals and disease research nationwide.

Showcasing Remington’s Gun Club Cure line of target shotshell ammunition, last year’s event was an overwhelming success, with participants and sponsors raising over $15,000.
