Marietta, GA – Jan. 2016 – TRU-SPEC®, one of the leading suppliers of uniforms and personal equipment to the military, law enforcement and public safety markets, has announced that they will be unveiling several new products at their booth (#10970) at SHOT Show 2016, in Las Vegas, NV.

TRU-SPEC® will be introducing the brand new Urban Force TRU, including the Uniform Shirt, Pant and Combat Shirt. This uniform was designed in conjunction with Law Enforcement Officers to encompass an approachable, yet tactical style. Beginning with the Urban Force TRU Shirt, the adjustable hook and loop mandarin collar makes it capable to be worn either up or down and providing a smooth uniform appearance. The shirt has a bi-swing back and a tapered body with a straight hem, allowing the shirt to be worn out or tucked in for a clean aesthetic. The low-profile self-closure chest pockets have hidden drain holes on the elbows and utility hooks beside the pockets for accessories. The mounting loops make mounting a low-profile police camera easy and unobtrusive to functionality and comfort. The sleeve pockets contain drain holes in the bellows, and include reinforced elbows with internal pockets. Made with 65/35 PC RS, the shirt is available in Black, OD and Navy.

The Urban Force TRU 1?4 Zip Combat Shirt has a 1?4 zip front mandarin collar with a covered hood for comfort. The contoured torso shape provides for an athletic fit, and the mesh side panels allow for optimal ventilation. The body is constructed with dri release® fabric for superior wicking, fast drying, antimicrobial capabilities, and sleeves are 65/35 PC RS. The Urban Force TRU ¼ Zip Combat Shirt is available in Black, OD and Navy.

Lastly, the Urban Force TRU Pant is made with a comfort fit slider waistband and a gusseted crotch for optimal comfort. The 12 pocket design includes, vertical side seam pockets that are incorporated into the extra deep front pockets, as well as dual reinforced knife/utility pockets for added capability and safety, and cargo pockets with auto-closure flaps and drain holes on the bellows. Taking into account the need for additional comfort for those working in the trenches, the Urban Force TRU Pant also comes with internal knee pockets for optional kneepads. Made with 65/35 PC/RS, the pants are available in Black, OD and Navy.

Another new addition is the Short Sleeve 1?4 Zip Combat Shirt. Featuring the favorite Tactical Response Uniform short sleeves with shoulder pockets, the shirt comes equipped with a ¼ zip front mandarin collar; the zipper having a cover hood for maximum comfort. The Short Sleeve ¼ Zip Combat Shirt has a CORDURA® base layer body and 65/35 PC RS sleeves; and is available in MultiCam®/ Coyote, OD/OD, Navy/Navy and Black/Black.

Bellingham, Wash. – Mustang Survival announced today that Team Comanche will wear Mustang Survival’s new range of performance waterproof, breathable outwear at the Rolex Sydney Hobart race beginning December 26, 2015 in Sydney, Australia.

“Mustang Survival has been building leading dry solutions for the military, coast guard and water rescue professionals for decades,” said Jason Leggatt, VP commercial products. “This expertise, along with our access to ultra-premium ingredient technologies like military-grade GORE-TEX fabrics, has allowed us to build what we, and Team Comanche, feel is the world’s driest, toughest performance outerwear.”

A 100 ft. Supermaxi yacht, Comanche, was built with one thing in mind; compete in the world’s great ocean races and break open-ocean racing records. Everything counts in these demanding multi-day races and poor performing gear can rapidly deteriorate the athlete’s advantage. Team Comanche, skippered by Ken Read, will be fully outfitted in Mustang Survival’s new range of outerwear, which includes a dry suit, pro smock, spray smock and salopettes, and base layers.

“Working with Mustang Survival to develop the EP series of ocean racing gear led to what will be the new benchmark for serious sailors. When we put the gear on in our fit trials, we knew we had something special. Testing it over the run up to the race, we were very impressed by the performance of the gear,” said Tony Mutter, watch captain and twice-winner of the Volvo Ocean Race.

In addition to the technical outerwear debuting at Sydney Hobart 2015, Mustang Survival will be releasing additional products in the fall of 2016. These will integrate seamlessly with the EP Ocean Racing Series, including a new Fusion Merino base layer, ocean racing gloves and more. By designing and developing the range together, Mustang Survival engineered what will be the only series of ocean racing products built to work as a system.

Jared Rhind, head of design comments, “By ensuring our products integrate seamlessly with one another through fit, material selection, and function, the result is a sum greater than its parts; a system benefit that no other can offer.”

Mustang Survival’s EP Ocean Racing Series will launch in June 2016 at retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
