French company Fantosme unveiled their latest chest rig which is so new it doesn’t even have a name yet. Hot off the sewing machine from designer Flimmuur Tactical, this rig quickly accepts armor plate pockets.

There are three internal magazine pockets and the front and wings feature laser cut PALS slots. As an aside, the 40mm placard features the same retention technology used in Flimmuur’s MagPi inserts.

While the front armor plate bags goes behind the ammo pouches, the rear plate bag attaches externally and is compatible with Crye Precision zip-on panels.

It attaches via Velcro wrapped around the yoke of the harness. You can also see the sliding harness feature for improved fitment.

Altama sister company Original SWAT recently introduced a collaboration with Handsfree Labs which changes how you don your boots.

This graphic does a very nice job of showing you how you put them on. Just step straight down into the boot and it’s on and secure. No more side zips or laced in zips and no need to adjust the laces. I tried them and it works.
OTTE Gear launched their new Down Range Pant during SHOT Show.

Made from a fabric with some mechanical stretch, this combat pant incorporates reinforced knees and removable knee pads.

Additionally, there’s a low profile bungee system to tighten the knee pad. Below it is a zippered calf pocket.

Finally, the thigh pockets have slots behind them which will accept magazines.

Coming soon from ottegear.com.

This two-piece camp boot from DNS Alpha has been adopted by the German military. It features an inner insulated boot for wear inside a tent and a waterproof outer boot for forays outside.

Below you can see two new weapon cleaning kits from Pro-Shot Products. The High North Ruck Series 5.56mm / 9mm Combination Kit is in the upper left. To the right is the High North Arctic Extreme Cold Weather Kit. Like the names imply, there kits are designed for use in the harshest environment on the planet.

The secret sauce to these kits is the new High North Lubricant which relies on a premium synthetic base with PTFE. It’s non-hazardous and is not restricted for shipment. Now get this, it’s effective down to -67C or -90F.

Tilak has released an Operator Pant to go with the Operator Jacket we showed during last year’s Enforce Tac and remains one of my favorite pieces. This is a great combo, with full articulation and mapped fabric applications.

This level 5 pant features three different fabrics. It shares two of them with the jacket but you’ll also notice the abrasion resistant anti-scuff patch reinforcement.

The Operator Pant features two zippered cargo pockets at the thighs along with the usual front slash pockets. However, as these are all business, there are no rear pockets. Instead, the seat is made from the same high tenacity fabric at the knees. You’ll also not that those knee reinforcements accept removable knee pads.

Additionally, there’s a zippered expansion at the cuff to accommodate Telemark boots.

Offered in Black, Coyote, Ranger Green, and MultiCam.

Everything Tilak does is well expected and you can order direct from their website with shipping to the US, or mostly anywhere else.

The latest from Italian boot maker Aku is the Dersertica DS. Intended for warmer clones, there’s no waterproof breathable membrane in this boot.

You’ll not the MOD Brown color which is a bit darker than the Coyote we are used to in the US.

Coming Spring Summer 25.
