First Ever Black Collar Arms Piglet Takedown Rifle to be Auctioned for Navy SEAL Charity

Friday, October 25th, 2024

Texas (10/24/2024) – Black Collar Arms is proud to announce its brand new Piglet Takedown Chassis system, which fits Ruger 10/22 Takedown compatible receivers and barrels. With generous donations from great industry partners in support of the C4 Foundation, a charity organization for active-duty Navy SEALS and their families, the very first production Piglet TD has been built into a decked-out rifle package and is being auctioned off on Gunbroker now!

The following companies donated components and services to make the C4 Foundation Piglet Takedown rifle a reality:

• Brownells:
BRN-22 Takedown receiver, plus bolt, recoil spring, and charging handle

• Timney: Drop-in trigger system

• Aimpoint: ACRO C-2 optic

• AccuLite Barrel: 10-inch Takedown barrel

• JK Armament: JK 105 RFX .22Cal suppressor

• Silencer Shop:
Tax stamp for suppressor, tax stamp for SBR, two Single Shot Trusts, and eForm 4 filing service

• Capitol Armory:
Custom Cerakote work including C4 Foundation logos

• Fixed Sight Media: Photography

• Gunbroker:
Auction fees waived so 100% of the auction close price will be donated

Manufactured in-house at the Black Collar Arms Central Texas facility, the Piglet Takedown Chassis is incredibly lightweight, durable, and precise. The Piglet TD brings a handful of unique features to the 10/22-compatible chassis/stock market:

• Rear screws lock receiver and trigger solidly in place. No rocking or wiggling like many other 10/22 compatible stocks and chassis! These rear screws are used in place of the factory rear trigger pin.

• Grip mount is integral to the Piglet Chassis rather than a screw-on part. Piglet accepts any AR-15 pistol grip (Black Collar Arms
Priapus Grip recommended).

• Notched for convenient safety bar clearance when on “safe.”

• Increased screw head diameter for receiver screw and handguard screw. The included screws replace the original Ruger ones and better distribute force.

• Add a Night Vision Bridge
to mount your optic to the takedown barrel assembly for perfect return-to-zero every time!

• Accepts most M1913 Picatinny rail-compatible pistol stabilizing braces (FS1913 recommended) or shoulder stocks (Black Collar Arms Stock Option recommended).

• Multiple quick-detach handguard options available to accommodate different barrel length and suppressor setups.

• Machined from a solid block of billet 6061 aluminum.

• Piglet TD Chassis weighs just 9.1 ounces! Weight with 3-, 4-, and 6-Slot Handguard attached is only 14, 15, and 17 ounces, respectively. System weight with Handguard and Stock Option is 24 to 29 ounces!

100% of the Gunbroker auction close price will be donated to the C4 Foundation, which was established to provide active-duty SEALs and their families a place to connect and get some R&R between deployments. It is focused on the fortitude, mental health, and family connections of our U.S. Navy SEALs.

While the C4 Foundation Piglet Takedown Rifle is built as an SBR, the auction winner will be given the option to take a 16-inch rifle instead, if that’s their preference (or a legal necessity in their home state, etc.).

Thank you so much to all of the companies that joined together in support of this great charity and helped to build an absolutely fantastic, fully decked-out rifle package on the brand new Black Collar Arms Piglet Takedown Chassis system! Support the Courser Racing SF Team for The World’s Toughest Row – Pacific

Tuesday, June 25th, 2024

Four Special Forces Veterans vie to row 2800 miles across the Pacific Ocean from Monterey, California to Hanalei on Kaua’i, Hawaii to raise awareness and funds for their worthy cause.

The team is participating in The World’s Toughest Row – Pacific starts in June each year with teams participating from around the World.

Founded by Special Operations Veterans in 2023, Courser Racing is a 501(c)(3) Charleston, SC-based non-profit organization that places Veterans, Law Enforcement, and Firefighters on Ocean Rowing Expeditions to support their transition to the civilian workforce.

Courser Racing provides support to these communities through a team-based robust maritime training regimen (simulating the rigor of a deployment cycle or emergency response preparation), by leveraging a professional business mentor network for job placement, and providing business experience through organic non-profit activities including fundraising, P+L management, recruiting, marketing, donor relations, and sponsorship contract negotiations.

They chose Ocean Rowing as a vehicle for transition support because it is relatively low cost (the ocean is free) and it mirrors the rigors of service required of Special Operations Veterans, Law Enforcement, and Firefighter/ EMS personnel.

Raising Awareness and Funds for Nonprofits Supporting Military, First Responders, and the Second Amendment

ATLANTA, GA — Task Force Expedition (TFE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising funds and awareness for handpicked nonprofits focused on military, first responder, and Second Amendment rights, is thrilled to announce its upcoming expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, from June 27 to July 8, 2024. This “once in a lifetime” adventure, which will be documented by Prelude Films, aims to generate significant support and exposure for the five participating nonprofits.

The expedition, funded entirely by industry sponsors, pairs each sponsor with a nonprofit organization to form a team. While the adventure itself is non-competitive, the teams will compete to see who can raise the most funds through public donations at TaskForceExpedition.com. At the end of the fundraising period, the funds raised will be pooled together and equally distributed among the nonprofits, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support.

Participating Teams and Sponsors:

• Team ASA Foundation sponsored by SilencerCo

• Team Frontline Healing Foundation sponsored by Crye Precision & Staccato

• Team Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F) sponsored by Elevated Silence

• Team Special Operations Wounded Warriors (SOWW) sponsored by Brownells

• Team UK sponsored by Edgar Brothers and Reptilia

“I recently read a quote that’s commonly attributed to an African proverb that says, ‘if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together,’” said Jeremy Morton, Executive Director of SOC-F and Secretary of Task Force Expedition. “I can think of no better way to capture the essence of TFE, which exists to bring people and organizations together in order to literally and figuratively climb whatever mountains lie ahead.”

“Task Force Expedition is more than just an adventure; it’s a powerful opportunity to bring much-needed attention and resources to handpicked organizations that tirelessly support our warriors, first responders, and Second Amendment rights,” said Knox Williams, President of ASA Foundation and Task Force Expedition. “By leveraging the excitement and challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, we aim to tell our stories, inspire generosity, and build lasting awareness for these essential causes.”
