Persistent Systems, QinetiQ US collaborate on ongoing Common Robotic System – Individual, or CRS(I), program

Persistent Systems, QinetiQ US also renew Wave Relay® Ecosystem industry partnership for another five years

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Persistent Systems, LLC (“Persistent”) a leader in mobile ad hoc networking (MANET), announced that it has received additional orders from QinetiQ US to provide thousands of Wave Relay networking devices in support of the U.S. Army’s Common Robotic System – Individual, or CRS (I), program.

CRS (I) is the Army’s continuing effort to provide dismounted troops with a lightweight, highly mobile unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to conduct reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition. In 2019, QinetiQ was selected to provide its SPUR platform for CRS(I). Persistent Systems, in turn, supplies the communications and command-and-control element of the UGV.

“The MPU5’s robust, low-latency networking capability allows the operator of the SPUR platform to send commands to the UGV as well as receive video and other sensor data back, which can also be shared with everyone else on the network,” said Nick Naioti, VP for Business Development for Persistent. “To date, Persistent Systems has supplied hundreds of radios for CRS(I) and we are just entering full-rate production for the program.”

The company’s new, state-of-the-art production facilities will meet the increased demand as well as those of other programs, he added.

QinetiQ US renews partnership with Persistent Systems

In addition to the CRS(I) orders, QinetiQ US is renewing for another five years its partnership in the Wave Relay® Ecosystem, an industry alliance of sensor, UGV, and unmanned aircraft contractors all using Persistent’s MANET as their default network. Ecosystem partners enjoy such benefits as competitive pricing, on-site expert training, product integration support, and access to the Persistent technology roadmap.

During last the five years, Persistent Systems collaborated closely with QinetiQ US. Besides supporting QinetiQ US in its early CRS(I) deliveries, Persistent has helped its Ecosystem partner on the Tactical Adaptable Light Ordnance Neutralization (TALON) family of robotic systems for the U.S. Army, providing an upgraded communications package for the UGVs.

The two companies have, as Ecosystem collaborators, won some $500 million worth of business. “We are excited to extend our partnership with QinetiQ US,” Naioti said, “and look forward to backing the company on future initiatives.”

Mission Ready Provides Corporate Update

Monday, August 1st, 2022

Protect the Force Manufacturing Division to Ramp Up Operations
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA – JULY 21, 2022 – Mission Ready Solutions Inc (“Mission Ready” or the “Company“) (TSX-V: MRS) (OTCQX: MSNVF) (FSE: 2R4), a provider of comprehensive government contracting solutions, today provides a corporate update on its operations.

In addition to the Company’s current pipeline of open market orders, foreign military sales (“FMS”), and orders on previously awarded contracting vehicles (including GSA Schedules and Blanket Purchase Agreements (“BPAs”)), Mission Ready – through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Unifire, Inc. (“Unifire”) – continues to build a respectable portfolio of active sales opportunities with, at present, over 60 open solicitations at various stages of the government contracting process.

The Company also reports that efforts are underway to ramp up operational capacities at its Jacksboro, Tennessee-based manufacturing facility, PTF Manufacturing Inc. (“PTFM“), in preparation for a number of manufacturing opportunities that the Company is hopeful it will receive, beginning in the current quarter.

Following recent leadership enhancements, Francisco Martinez, Chief Technology Officer, has taken over leadership at Protect the Force and PTFM, successfully identifying growth areas and defining our manufacturing capabilities. As a result, PTFM pipeline of opportunities has been significantly increased, and the Company’s management team is in active discussions to expand its manufacturing resources. These improvements will be primarily funded through state and local funding initiatives, including tax credits, labor incentives, and other investments.

“Over the last few months, PTFM has been working with Tellico Services Inc. (“Tellico”) as an original equipment manufacturer (“OEM“) for sewn products,” said Francisco Martinez, Chief Technology Officer. “With our OEM capabilities, we have been able to explore additional opportunities to maximize our resources at PTFM, and the response has been overwhelming. Our focus is now on increasing PTFM’s workforce and equipment, and I am very enthusiastic and eager to work with the team in Jacksboro.”

“We continue to operate according to our long-term vision of building diversified revenue streams by bolstering our manufacturing and production capacity. This allows us to retain or increase our margins and balance the reliance on Government Contracts to sustain operations. Utilizing the leadership of Francisco and the rest of the Unifire team to look for manufacturing opportunities, I believe PTFM will be a cornerstone in our growth plan as we continue moving Mission Ready in the right direction,” said Buck Marshall, President and CEO of Mission Ready.

Aero Precision Partners with the Second Amendment Foundation to Help the Fight Against Gun Control in Washington State

Saturday, July 23rd, 2022

To raise funds to combat the recent standard capacity magazine ban (SB 5078) in the State of Washington, we at Aero Precision partnered with the Second Amendment Foundation to sell specially marked 30-round magazines. The net profits from each of these magazines sold have been donated to the Second Amendment Foundation raising a total of $28,120 for the fight against this unconstitutional law.

This fundraiser worked to not only generate money for this fight but also played a key part in our effort to get more standard capacity magazines into the hands of Washington State residents before the ban took effect.

Being a Washington-based firearms manufacturer we at Aero Precision want to ensure we are taking actions with a measurable impact beyond just building awareness. While the fight to preserve the Second Amendment is national, we believe the need to dig in at a local level is imperative. These values are something we hold close to heart as these types of laws negatively impact the rights of our local community members, employees, and customers.

About Aero Precision:

Aero Precision is a leading, top-tier manufacturer in the firearms industry. With roots in Aerospace, our quality and attention to detail go unmatched. When building something that flies, there is no margin for error. We take that same approach when making parts for firearms. Aero always delivers extremely high-quality, American-manufactured parts and components that you can rely on.

Manufacturing a great firearm isn’t just about what the end product looks like. It’s about what it feels like, how it works, how it handles, and how it performs. We push the boundaries of manufacturing and challenge the status quo by constantly looking for new ways to use, develop or evolve existing processes. By personally designing and engineering state-of-the-art tooling, we’re able to leverage the latest machine tool technologies to provide our customers with parts and components of the highest quality.
