Elzetta has just announced their new line of Alpha flashlights. The smallest flashlights Elzetta has ever produced, Aplhas run off a single CR123 battery, and are capable of producing 315 lumens with a runtime of 51 minutes. 24 unique Alpha configurations are available, as users can select a standard or Crenellated Bezel Ring, standard or flood lens, and any of six tailcap options.
Elzetta’s AVS technology allows the Alpha to expand output to 380 lumens when powered by a LiFePO4 RCR123A rechargeable battery. SureFire – X400 Ultra – Green Laser

SureFire’s X400 Ultra weaponlight integrates a white light with a max output of 500 lumens with a green laser with a max output of 5 mW. Activating the X400 Ultra is done by using the ambidextrous switch at the rear of the body. An additional rear switch allows for the activation of the light and laser separately or together. The body of the X400 Ultra is constructed from high-strength aerospace aluminum with Mil-Spec anodizing and impact-resistant polymer; O-ring and gasket sealed for weatherproofing.
The X400 Ultra is capable of a 1.5 hour ‘Tactical Runtime’ on 2 123A batteries.

New Jersey State Police Selects SureFire X300 Ultra As Standard-Issue Weaponlight
Tuesday, June 17th, 2014Fountain Valley, CA — After a comprehensive testing and evaluation process involving several competitive tactical lighting products, the SureFire X300® Ultra has been adopted as part of New Jersey State Police’s standard-issue WeaponLight.
New Jersey State Police have contracted with Atlantic Tactical to purchase 2,800 SureFire X300® Ultra’s to be issued to all of their sworn officers. The initial purchase of 1,765 units will be delivered within 30 days and the remaining balance to be delivered in the next few months.
The X300® Ultra delivers 500 lumens of blinding light through a precision Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens. Powered by two disposable 123A lithium batteries, the WeaponLight will deliver 1.5 hours of tactical-level output on a set of batteries. Activating the X300 Ultra is achieved via an ambidextrous push/toggle switch located on the light’s rear, which provides either momentary- or constant-on activation with a push of a finger. For even more control, without the need to alter your grip on the weapon, X300 Ultra can be outfitted with an optional SureFire DG grip switch, on many popular pistol models, or with an XT07 pressure-pad tape switch on long guns.
SureFire Introduces Maximus Vision Headlamp With Warm White-Light LED
Monday, June 9th, 2014Fountain Valley, CA — The new rechargeable SureFire Maximus Vision variable-output headlamp features a high-efficiency white-light LED that delivers 450 maximum lumens of warm, yellow-hued light — similar to the light produced by incandescent tungsten lamps. This warmer beam color, which appears less blue to the human eye than light from a typical LED, renders colors more accurately, helps reduce eye strain for some users, and better penetrates dust and fog, making it ideal for medical use, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), and many industrial applications.
The SureFire Maximus Vision is nearly identical to the original SureFire Maximus, except for its warm-colored light and its slightly lower maximum output. Lumen output ranges from one to 450 lumens and is controlled via a large knurled dial that permits easy one-handed output selection, even if your hand is gloved or numbed by the cold. The Vision’s beam can also be aimed with one hand to shine precisely where light is needed, since the light assembly rotates up and down 90 degrees.
The Maximus Vision utilizes a custom reflector to produce a wide, smooth beam optimized for your field of vision, but its beam provides impressive reach at the maximum-output setting. Power is provided by an integral rechargeable lithium-ion battery designed to provide years of service; chargers for both wall-type AC outlets and 12-volt DC vehicle outlets are included. A handy fuel gauge on the headlamp lets you know the battery-charge status at a glance, and a long-running SOS beacon provides an extra margin of safety should you ever get lost or stranded and need to signal for help. Constructed from tough, lightweight magnesium, the SureFire Maximus Vision thrives in the Great Outdoors, but its vision-friendly beam color and cost-effective rechargeable power source also make it ideal for everyday-use by industrial and tactical professionals, as well as anyone who needs a powerful, reliable headlamp. The no-chafe, fine-weave headband and moisture-wicking Breathe-O-Prene® forehead pad will fit over a bare head, a hat, and most helmets, making the Vision extremely comfortable to wear for extended-use applications.

SOFIC 2014 – SureFire Arc Lights
