As you can see, it accommodates the tube as well as baseplate and is adapted to the venerable ALICE frame. It’s pretty innovative and they’ve already been issued a SOF specific NSN for this item (8465-01-605-2256).

The Hill People Gear Highlander is designed to serve dual duty as a compression panel using the optional Compression Kit or as a stand alone backpack with a single zip design similar to the Tarahumara.
It can be mounted to a variety of frames as a compression panel including those from Kifaru and as well as the old external frame from Dana Designs. Additionally, it has a padded back and can be worn alone using an optional harness. Below, you can see the Compression Kit.
