Chase Tactical – Warrior Wednesday – Warrior Assault Systems Helmet Cargo Pack

The Warrior Assault System Helmet Cargo Pack (HCP) is a versatile cargo pack with a main central compartment for general storage which opens via a heavy duty zipper. Inside a separate sleeve holds a 3 litre hydration bladder (not included) there are 2 side pockets on the outside providing additional storage of a variety of small items.

On the outside of the main compartment is a fully adjustable folding pouch which is designed to store a combat helmet or jacket, clothing etc. The Helmet Cargo Pack can be worn with 2 padded removable shoulder straps or when these are removed the HCP can be MOLLEd on to the back of any armor carrier. Total pack capacity is approx. 12 litres.

The Helmet Cargo Pack is currently available in MultiCam, Coyote, Black, OD Green, Ranger Green, A-TACS-FG, and A-TACS-AU

Warrior East – MATBOCK Introduces MR Dry

Like all of their products, the new MR Dry from MATBOCK was designed based on their operational requirements as active duty SEALs. Like the name implies, the MR Dry is a cooperative development with Mystery Ranch that transforms a MR Tri-Zip 3-Day Pack into a truly wearable, yet accessible, fully waterproof bag. It’s design by MATBOCK, Load Carriage by Mystery Ranch and Waterproof by Drift Dry.

The exterior incorporates a new Mystery Ranch yoke that combines mesh and venilated padding to shorten drying time. This yoke can be removed just like on any other MR pack and installed on the 3-Day Pack that is suspended inside the waterproof shell. Everything is fully removable but when zipped up tight, it’s fully waterproof and even incorprates a oral inflation valve.

You may notice Orange piping on the waterproof shell, but that’s to designate a prototype. Production models will be available in all Black, Grey and MultiCam. Final prototypes are coming next week and you’ll be able to order the MR Dry by August.

Warrior East – TYR Tactical Unveils Jungle Ruck

TYR Tactical unveiled their award winning Jungle Ruck. The bag is made from 500D Cordura and the pack and frame together weigh in at 5.1 lbs.

Offering 2500 cu in of load carrying capacity, it incorprates PALS webbing along the back to attach additional pouches. The sides are slick to make it easier to get through brush and wait-a-minute vines. The pack also comes with accessory pouches including a mesh beavertail. You may notice a horizontal zipper about halfway down the side of the pack. In addition to being a flat pocket, it contains a hanger that can suspend optional, external pockets when needed.

The frame comes in 20 & 22 inch lengths and is made from aluminum and carbon fiber. TYR built 14 iterations of the frame, balancing weight and strength, in order to get to this version.

The Elite Survival Systems PULSE 24-Hour Backpack is a sleek, feature-rich backpack appropriate for everything from a day trip to an extended operation.

Hill People Gear – Tarahumara and Ute Packs Now Available in ODG Lupus Pattern

We had preciously mentioned that Hill People Gear’s Tarahumara Pack is available in Orion Design Group‘s Lupus camouflage pattern. Now, they’ve added a Lupus version of the Ute Backpack.

The 2160 cu in Ute is designed for loads in the 20-60 lbs range. You can also mount several of HPG’s smaller packs including the Tarahumara to the Ute, as seen in the photo above.

Propper – U.C. Pack

The design of Propper’s User Configurable Pack was inspired by the USMC issue Assault Pack. A panel loader whixh is made from 1000D Cordura, it measures 20” high x 13” wide x 6.5” deep. In addition to the generous PALS field, the U.C. Pack is also lined with Velcro pile in order to allow the user to attach any of a variety of pouches and pockets.
