The Fortis Camber™AR15 Rail System featuring our new Camber Lock™ mounting system is the next evolution of our extremely popular handguards. Built for the end user that requires an even more rock solid platform. The Camber Lock™ is one of the industries’ most solid mounting systems available. The stainless steel barrel nut & locking camber nuts are purpose built for rigidity & weight savings.

Installation only requires a high-quality castle nut wrench (not included) and with an included T30 Torx L-Key, you’ll lock the rail down in a matter of minute. This rail system is very easy to install and more importantly, remove to service your weapon. MLOK slots in the usual 3, 6 & 9 O’clock positions with additional MLOK slots at the 1:30, 4:30, 7:30 & 10:30 positions for all your light & switch needs.

5.11 Announces New Load Bearing Products for Fall 2022

LV6 Waist Pack 2.0

The LV6 Waist Pack 2.0 ($42) received an updated quick-release S/R buckle waist strap and new Duraflex® buckles that are easier to operate, especially when wearing gloves. A great grab-and-go solution that can be worn around the waist or across the body, it features interior pockets and panels, a hidden slip compartment, side compression straps and a rear mesh pocket. Additionally, this waist pack can be attached to the 5.11 LV18 Backpack 2.0 when more carrying power is needed.

LV10 Sling Pack 2.0

Similar updates were made to the Duraflex® buckles of the LV10 Sling Pack 2.0 ($115) to allow easier access to gear. Additional redesign features include a new removable holster retention strap, a securing strap in the tablet sleeve, and a quick-release CAM buckle to the main crossbody strap.

LV18 Backpack 2.0

To round out the LV Collection of packs, the LV18 Backpack 2.0 ($135) also received updates with internal organization and new Duraflex® buckles. Inside the ambidextrous side entry CCW compartment, the loop area has been increased and a removable holster retention strap has been added. The height of the padded laptop sleeve has been extended and a security strap added to keep electronics secure. A second set of webbing loops offer improved attachment for the LV6 Waist Pack 2.0 when extra cargo space is needed. Additional features include side compression straps, a padded back panel with a Flex cuff channel, and quick-release shoulder straps with a removable sternum strap.

Moog Inc to Support L3Harris and Air Tractor Sky Warden Team on USSOCOM Armed Overwatch Program

EAST AURORA, N.Y. – Oct 18, 2022 – Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announced today that L3Harris Technologies has selected Moog’s Space and Defense segment to provide its weapon Stores Management System (SMS) in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Armed Overwatch Program.

L3Harris’ USSOCOM award includes an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a cost ceiling of $3 billion. The program calls for delivery of up to 75 manned, fixed-wing aircraft. Moog’s combat proven, modular, lightweight, and affordable SMS solution will be integrated on each aircraft to provide superior fire-control and mission set capabilities.

– Enhanced Stores Management Computer (E-SMC) – Stores Interface Unit (SIU)

– Remote Power Unit (RPU-6)

– Dual Rail Launcher (DRL) for HELLFIRE® Missile

The SMS equipment will be manufactured by Moog’s Integrated Defense Systems business in Orlando, Florida. Production of new, fully modified Armed Overwatch mission-configured aircraft will begin in 2023 at L3Harris’ Tulsa, Oklahoma modification center.

Mission Ready’s Innovation Division Awarded OTA Agreement from the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center

Protect The Force Inc. to Develop Hardened Arm Protective Yoke Prototype(s) for the US Army

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA – OCTOBER 11, 2022 – Mission Ready Solutions Inc (“Mission Ready” or the “Company“) (TSX-V: MRS) (OTCQX: MSNVF) (FSE: 2R4), a provider of comprehensive government contracting solutions, is pleased to announce that, Protect the Force Inc. (PTF), the Company’s innovation and manufacturing division, has been awarded an Other Transaction for Prototype Agreement to develop a hardened arm protective yoke (HARPY) for next-generation body armor.

The award is in reference to a Request for Project Proposal (RPP) DEVCOM SC BOTAA 22-01 by the US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground – Natick Contracting Division. As a result of the award, PTF will fabricate HARPY prototypes for the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC).

“The HARPY is one of the only ballistic protective items in the Army development pipeline since the Ballistic Combat Shirt that led to PTF’s Flex9Armor,” said Francisco J. Martinez, Chief Technology Officer at Protect the Force and Unifire, Inc. “Our past performance and demonstrated experience in developing advanced military-grade body armor systems will drive us to produce innovative solutions that will enhance and ensure the safety of our troops. The HARPY will be an integral part of a future protective ensemble, compatible with the Army Combat Shirt (ACS), among other items. The garment is intended to enhance Soldier protection and mobility while meeting the DoD performance and standard military textile requirements (flame retardancy, antimicrobial, visual signature, care, maintenance, etc.)

Australian Army Boxer Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle Achieves Initial Operational Capability

Rheinmetall is proud to acknowledge the Australian Army’s declaration of the Boxer Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle (CRV) Initial Operational Capability (IOC).

Announced on Saturday 15 October, by The Honourable Richard Marles, Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, the Boxer IOC declaration reflects the vehicle’s success in meeting the Australian Army’s stated operational needs; paving the way for the Boxer to be deployed on operations.

Speaking of the Boxer CRV IOC declaration, Mr Gary Stewart, Managing Director Rheinmetall Defence Australia explained the importance in providing a protected capability to the Australian Army’s soldiers.

“The Boxer CRV is the most advanced combat reconnaissance vehicle now in service with the Australian Defence Force. It offers increased protection, lethality and digitisation, and is a game-changer to safely operate in hostile environments and on peace keeping missions.”

“The Boxer’s journey to IOC has included extensive testing and live exercises with the Australian Army. I am proud of the global Rheinmetall team who have worked in partnership with Defence to deliver this important capability milestone. Following this IOC declaration, Rheinmetall continues our work in supporting the path to Final Operational Capability,” said Mr Stewart.

Rheinmetall is the largest supplier of military vehicles to the Australian Defence Force, with over 2,900 Rheinmetall trucks already in service with the Australian Army. Rheinmetall is delivering a total of 211 Boxer CRVs and a further 490 trucks from the company’s Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE), based at Redbank, South East Queensland.

“At Rheinmetall, we believe that what we do, matters to those who serve. This is a shared purpose between our staff, now over 730 here in Australia, and the over 30 Australian companies that directly contributed to the manufacture, delivery and support of the initial Boxer CRV capability.”

Poseidon Kronos Tactical Life Preserver Awarded NSN

Safe Defence Pty Ltd, trading as Poseidon Australia, has been awarded NSN codification for their range of tactical life preservers.
This is a direct result of in increasing number of SF units trialing and moving forward with procurement of this unique life preserver.

The Poseidon Kronos was developed on request by Special Forces

The Poseidon Kronos LPU comes in three different models, ranging from the SuperLITE 157N model to the full spec Kronos 306N model. The latter incorporates the “damage resistant technology” that ensures that the LPU will fully inflate even if penetrated by projectiles or sharp edged weapons.

The Poseidon Kronos represent a generational shift in the development of life preservers used in hostile environments

Low profile to ensure the LPU doesn’t restrict natural head movement during operations
