Armasight Introduces ArmaCORE Self-Contained 320 12 Micron Pixel Thermal Core

For Immediate Release – Northbrook IL – Pioneer in Thermal Imaging and Night Vision Devices, Armasight begins production of the new ArmaCORE™ Thermal Core as the latest evolution in uncooled thermal imaging technology. Armasight products are Proudly Designed & Built in the USA with U.S. and global components.

The ArmaCORE combines a 12?m pixel sensor, image processing, and interfaces for wireless communication, GPS, internal memory, WiFi and USB streaming capabilities into a single piece of hardware. The self-contained nature of the ArmaCORE creates enhanced reliability in devices, simplified workflow in manufacturing, a significant size reduction, and a 25% reduction in overall weight.

The 12?m pixel ArmaCORE represents a pixel size reduction of 40% over the previous generation of sensors available on the market, translating to improved resolution in devices. This translates to an overall decrease in power consumption of up to 35% giving users longer runtimes with smaller batteries and faster recharge cycles. This reduction in size is achieved while improving the overall quality and scalability of the video image.

With a weight of 7.5g and a 21mm x 21mm x 19mm body, the ArmaCORE represents an industry-leading reduction in space without sacrificing performance. The advanced embedded processing and video analytics, as well as customizable software functionality, gives this small camera big capabilities, including integration with auxiliary sensors, third-party cameras, GPS, and IMU.

Onboard image capturing and recording is available to external memory via SD or USB, based on device characteristics. Continuous streaming at 30 FPS over SDIO for Wi-Fi and over USB is a built-in feature of the ArmaCORE. An API is also available for the control of filing systems and image manipulation.

Freedom over Money … Froglube Decides Not To Attend SHOT Show 2022

GREETINGS TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS

It is with a degree of sadness that after 10 years of attendance, we have decided to end our presence at the annual National Shooting Sports Foundation SHOT SHOW in Las Vegas, NV.

Since COVID struck in 2020, FrogLube attempted to continue our participation in SHOT SHOW despite unlawful, cost prohibitive and convoluted restrictions imposed by the governor of the state of Nevada. We looked to NSSF to stand up for our industry and to pressure the state authorities into allowing our trade show to return to normal. As a small business, any attempt to engage in commercial interaction with our customers under constantly changing, unrealistic and absurd restrictions is cost prohibitive and places an undue burden on our company.

We do not question the reality of the COVID 19 disease, in fact, most of us have had it. At issue is that a disease is not sufficient cause for the removal of god-given/inalienable rights by any man, government agency or commercial enterprise. Does the governor of Nevada restrict trade show attendance for any other communicable diseases with transmissibility? FrogLube and NSF engage in free enterprise in an industry that uses individual rights as a selling point to attract people to purchase our firearms products. We find the NSF stance is mutually incompatible to the expression of both the 1st and 2nd amendments of the US Constitution. How can we stress the 2nd amendment at the show while yielding on the 1st amendment?

We did attempt to persuade the NSSF to cope with these issues, but we got no relief. We found ourselves stuck in an ethical dilemma, where we might have to choose to compromise on our company ethos in order to continue our attendance.

At FrogLube, we come from military and law enforcement backgrounds and we share lifetimes of service to our country, our citizens and the protection of their rights. For us, the decision is freedom over money. We choose freedom,

One of these is the handle found on AR platforms, while the other is a non-reciprocating, foldable charging handle located above the barrel. This gives the user the choice to use whatever manual of arms that is preferred; both systems are ambidextrous.

Lithuania Joins Framework Agreement on Carl-Gustaf

Saab has signed a framework agreement with the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence for the Carl-Gustaf® M4 weapon and ammunition. A first order for ammunition with a value of approximately SEK 150 million was placed by the Lithuanian Defence Materiel Agency in connection with the signing of the framework agreement.

The signing means that the Lithuanian Armed Forces will join the same Carl-Gustaf framework agreement as Sweden, Estonia and Latvia.

“It’s a great milestone to have Sweden and all the Baltic countries in the same agreement for the Carl-Gustaf system. Now we look forward to delivering this ammunition and providing Lithuania with the fantastic Carl-Gustaf M4 system,” Görgen Johansson, head of Saab’s business area Dynamics.

Since the Carl-Gustaf M4 launch in 2014, Saab has signed contracts with fourteen different nations for the system. The wide range of ammunition provides extreme tactical flexibility, ready for any combat situation, delivering faster engagement, increased hit probability and greater effectiveness.

Lithuania has been a user of the Carl-Gustaf system since the mid-1990’s.

DroneShield Appoints Matt McCrann as its US CEO
