Vigilant Security Services (VSS) Moves Main Operations to Las Vegas, Launches Website, YouTube Channel

New location and website will support increased student enrollment in tactical training courses for firearms and other tactical courses..

Las Vegas, NV. (October 27, 2020) ­– Erik Lawrence, Principal of Vigilant Security Services, LLC, announced that the main region of operations of VSS has shifted from Philippi, WV, to Las Vegas, NV in October 2020. The new location will support increased student enrollment in tactical training courses for firearms and other tactical courses.

Additionally, Lawrence has launched a new website, and YouTube channel, Erik Lawrence VSS. The website includes an online store offering many firearms manuals, tactical books authored by Lawrence, zeroing targets for the AK-47, popular AR-15/M4 optics and other tactical products. The YouTube channel will allow viewers worldwide to enjoy high-quality videos of Lawrence featuring various weapons systems.

Zoll and Claire, Inc Sign Exclusive Agreement for Outside-the-US Distribution of Portable Oxygen Concentrator

October 20, 2020 — Chelmsford, MASS. — ZOLL® Medical Corporation, an Asahi Kasei company that manufactures medical devices and related software solutions, and CAIRE, Inc., a leading oxygen supply manufacturer, today announced the signing of an exclusive distributor agreement. As part of this agreement, ZOLL has exclusive rights to distribute the SAROS® 4000 Portable Oxygen Concentrator in all markets outside the U.S. in combination with ZOLL’s EMV+® ventilator.

By combining the EMV+ ventilator with the SAROS 4000 Oxygen Concentrator, remote medics will be able to deliver high-end, oxygen-enriched critical care ventilation and oxygenation therapy without the use of oxygen cylinders, which present refilling and logistical challenges and are a hazardous threat in armed conflicts.

“The logistical burden of exchanging empty oxygen cylinders in the field presents considerable challenges for militaries, including the risk of explosion and the need for aircraft and personnel to transport the cylinders to and from the field,” said Elijah A. True Velocity Ammunition Advances to Shortlist for Australian LAND 159 Force Modernization Program

Composite ammunition manufacturer vying to outfit Australia’s military through next generation equipment procurement process

GARLAND, TX (October 26, 2020) – Australia-based NIOA, a company specializing in the supply and sustainment of weapons and munition systems to the Australian Defense Force (ADF), has invited Texas-based True Velocity to the next stage in the LAND 159 Lethality Systems Project procurement process. The LAND 159 project will equip the men and women of the ADF with next-generation pistols, assault rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, direct fire support weapons, and ammunition. True Velocity, which manufactures composite cased ammunition for military, law enforcement and civilian use, will specifically participate in the narrowed search for next generation ammunition solutions.

In collaboration with the Commonwealth of Australia, NIOA serves as Prime Contractor for the LAND 159 program. Program participants ultimately selected will deliver next generation weapons and ammunition to the ADF in three phases or “tranches” over the next decade.
