Blackhawk Adds New Fits to A.R.C. Holster Line

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – April 1, 2020 – Blackhawk, a leader in the law enforcement and military equipment realm for over 20 years, announced today that it has expanded its line of Appendix Reversible Carry (A.R.C) Inside the Waistband (IWB) holsters with new models compatible for today’s most popular concealed carry pistols. The new A.R.C. IWB holsters are now available for use with the SIG P365, SIG P356XL, Glock 48 and Smith & Wesson EZ 9/380 pistols.

The A.R.C. IWB holsters have been designed to offer a deep concealment solution. With its fully reversible design, users now have multiple carry options in one holster model. The A.R.C. IWB holster is constructed of a soft, yet durable injection-molded polymer material for all-day comfort and concealment. As functional as it is comfortable, the holster design provides users with ambidextrous options for appendix carry.

Each holster is packaged with two cant and ride height adjustment belt clips for 1.5- and 1.75-inch belts. For further customization, a passive retention detent with adjustment screws allows users to vary the amount of friction for personalized firearm security. With its low-cut design, the A.R.C. IWB can be used in conjunction with pistols featuring rear-mounted red dot sights. The A.R.C. IWB is also compatible with both compact and full-size pistol models and now includes fits for over 25 semi-automatic firearms.

UF PRO Introduces Revolutionary New Payment System

UF PRO to Begin Accepting Toilet Paper in Place of Currency; Customers Can Soon Pay for Purchases in Rolls or Sheets

TRZIN, SLOVENIA (1 April 2020)—Cutting-edge maker of tactical clothing UF PRO today announced that it will soon allow customers the option of paying for their purchases in toilet paper.

“Toilet Paper Pay represents the next generation of e-commerce transactioning,” UF PRO executives said.

The company said customers can pay using either toilet paper in roll form or in individual sheets. The only stipulations are the toilet paper must be 2-ply or 3-ply and must not have been previously used.

UF PRO said it has been spending the past several weeks recalibrating its online store’s shopping cart and checkout systems to accommodate this new method of payment.

“We’re configuring our online store’s front end and also its back end to fully support Toilet Paper Pay,” company officials said. “Customers will find it exceptionally easy to use.”

Basically, shoppers will make their selections of UF PRO’s top-rated combat pants, shirts, jackets, and other items of tactical gear just as before, executives explained. The difference will be that, during checkout, customers can opt to pay in either conventional currency or Toilet Paper Pay. Customers also will be able with one click to see prices listed in traditional currencies or in toilet paper, adjusted to reflect applicable exchange rates and tariffs or doodies—er, duties.

UF PRO executives could not give a firm date by which they expect to have the new toilet-paper pay system up and ready to go live. However, they assured that the debut will be “soon.”

Meanwhile, the company invited interested shoppers to subscribe for early notification of when this innovative payment method option will officially plop down.

“We’re confident it will make quite a splash,” officials said.

Mission Spec Pushes Battlefield Medicine In New Direction

The company has decided to re-designate it from Essentials Only Carrier™ to Essential Oils Carrier™.

Innovation like this will allow combat and law enforcement life savers quick and ready access to a myriad of potential analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial solutions. Some suspect that these types of extracts could potentially replace broad spectrum antibiotics such as the Levofloxacin (500mg) or Moxifloxacin (400mg) (TCCC recommendation for oral antibiotics) commonly found in “Combat Pill Packs”. However, it is not intended as a replacement for intramuscularly (IM) injected or intravenously (IV) infused drugs such as Cefotan/cefotetan (2 grams [IV or IM] once every 12 hours) or Invanz/ertapenem (1 gram [IV or IM] once every 24 hours).

Future associated products include a MOLLE compatible, crush proof, coconut oil (or other carrier oil) dispenser pouch. This will allow for easy field-dilution by medical personnel. Projected availability for Q3/2020.

The Essential Oils Carrier does come pretreated with lavender to promote a calm atmosphere for both the medical personnel and patient during combat operations.

Team Bushnell Delivers Top Finishes at A.I. USA Pro Series PRS Match

Pro Shooter Mark Cooper Wins Tactical Division

OVERLAND PARK, Kansas – Team Bushnell delivered a strong showing at the recent Accuracy International Long Range Classic, earning multiple top place finishes. During the fifth PRS Pro Series competition of the season, Bushnell Pro Shooter Mark Cooper earned First Place in the Tactical Division while teammate Bryan Sikes finished the match in 9th place overall.

Held at the Altus Shooting Solutions range in Baker, Florida, the A.I Long Range Classic challenged competitors with 20 courses of fire designed to push each shooter and their equipment to the limits. The challenge of making long-distance impacts from a variety of shooting positions, all while under the clock, provided the field of 134 shooters with two days of hard-fought competition.

Competing in the Tactical Division with his Elite Tactical XRS II, Cooper was able to maintain a lead throughout the match, winning the division by 28 points. His first major win of the 2020 season, Cooper was very pleased with his performance.

“The A.I. match is a kickoff to the new season and this year I decided to focus my energy on competing in the Tactical Division for the first time,” said Cooper. “Altus is known for its first-class facility and challenging courses of fire so I knew that it would be a close match. Without my XRS II, I don’t think my top finish would have been possible. Its crystal-clear glass paired with the G3 reticle made locating and engaging multiple targets possible, all under a 90 second par time. In my opinion, Elite Tactical riflescopes win hands down every time.”

In the Open Division, fellow Bushnell teammate and RCBS/Champion sponsored shooter Bryan Sikes finished the match in 9th place overall. Sikes was only 15 points behind the overall champion and relied on the Elite Tactical DMR II Pro to see him through the competition.

“Altus is one of those places that I look forward to competing at every year,” said Sikes. “Difficult stages, a great group of competitors and hundreds of rounds of fun. I’m very pleased with my finish even though you always wish you would have had a few more impacts. But overall, a solid match made even better by great glass. Looking forward to next one.”
