GLOCK Introduces Slimline Series

SMYRNA, Ga. – January 2, 2019 Today, GLOCK, Inc. announces two additions to the GLOCK pistol family. The GLOCK 43X and the GLOCK 48 feature the design of the Slimline series with a silver slide and are a perfect fit for everyday carry. Chambered in 9X19, both pistols feature a compact Slimiline frame with silver nPVD finish and a 10-round magazine capacity making them ideal for concealed carry.
“With the success of the Slimline series in the marketplace and over one million GLOCK 43 pistols sold in just three years, the Slimline series pistols have been tested, trusted and proven,” said GLOCK, Inc. Designed for comfort, the G43X and G48 combine a fuller-size grip length with a minimal profile of approximately 1” for a comfortably balanced, versatile grip that’s ideal for a variety of users. While the two pistols share the same size frame, they have different slide lengths. The slide for the G43X is the same sub-compact length as the G43 (6.06 in.) while the G48 has a compact length (6.85 in) and is compliant with Canadian regulations.
These pistols incorporate elements of the Slimline series such as the short trigger distance, a frame with a built-in beavertail, a reversible magazine catch and the incredibly accurate, match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB). The G43X and G48 also feature precision-milled front serrations. Both models are available in three sight configurations; standard, GLOCK Night Sights (GNS), and Ameriglo BOLD.
The silver Slimline models G43X and G48 will be showcased at SHOT Show 2019 and will be available on dealer shelves beginning January 21st.

2nd Annual Memorial 3-Gun Registration Opens January 1st, 2019

Ft. Bragg, N.C. – (January 2019)- The Memorial 3Gun Foundation is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Memorial 3Gun Competition presented by Grey Ghost Precision, happening September 13 -15, 2019 at Gryphon Group Security Solutions in Maxton, North Carolina.
The purpose of this event is to bring the competitive shooting world together with current and past military members and their families to Remember, Honor, and Memorialize eight fallen heroes in the spirit of competitive shooting. All proceeds go directly to the families of the fallen soldiers honored at the competition.
The first 100 active duty service members to register for this event, will have their money refunded on the first day of competition. This is all possible because of Grey Ghost Precision, who generously donated 100 match slots to our service men and women.
Competitors can expect a mix of traditional 3gun style stages and non-traditional types of
stages from classic “run and gun” to shooting from a moving vehicle or a parachute harness, and clearing obstacles. This competition will expose competitors to situations they have never been placed in before, while at the same time honoring those who have sacrificed everything for our country.

The O.Z-9 has the accuracy, control and balance of a 1911, the reliability of a striker fired pistol, and is fully modular, allowing for grip changes and compatibility with Glock and ZEV parts.

The O.Z-9 feels and performs better because of the improved grip angle and increased rigidity of the internal steel receiver.
The O.Z-9 is modular. The internal steel receiver allows for an interchangeable grip, and all other parts are fully compatible with Glock and ZEV components.
The O.Z-9 is tested. The O.Z-9 has gone through 3 years of testing and revision with over 500,000 rounds fired. It has met or exceeded various aspects of the U.S. Army TOP (Test Operations Procedure) for small arms, SAAMI, and California Department of Justice protocols for safety, reliability, and environmental testing, and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
New Atom LT Gen 2 Lineup for 2019 from Arc’teryx LEAF
January 1st, 2019Arc’teryx LEAF has redesigned the Atom LT for 2019, creating the Gen 2 lineup.
The first thing you are going to notice is the zippered chest pocket, but that’s not all that’s new. Atom remains my mid-layer of choice because they’ve focused materials used on increasing air permeability.
While they’ve retained the TORAY Mechanical Stretch Mini-Rip LT (w/DWR) durable face fabric from the first version, the hoody’s insulation and liner have been updated to a more breathable system to improve body temperature regulation when worn under PPE or as part of layering system.
A new liner material is a key component in this revised configuration of materials. The LI PENG high air perm nylon ripstop liner permits airflow, which aids in the transport of moisture and heat away from the body. Combined with continuous filament CLIMASHIELD Combat Fibrefill Insulation (w/DWR), breathability is greatly enhanced. Overall, the new materials package increases breathability, improving performance over a wide range of conditions.
At the sides, you’ll find a very comfortable PONTETORTO 7.5oz Hardface Fleece.
The Atom LT (Gen 2) line consists of four garments including the new Atom LT Vest (Gen 2). It accompanies the Atom LT Hoody (Gen2), Atom LT Jacket (Gen2) and Atom LT Pant (Gen 2).

• Trimmer fit hood with updated design
• Moved from an internal chest pocket to an external left chest pocket for securing carriage of mission essential items.
