March 24th, 2018Stevensville, MD 22 MAR 18-Zodiac Milpro will be demonstrating the capabilities of the Zodiac Hurricane H1300 Interceptor at the Sea, Air, Space Conference April 9-11 in National Harbor, MD.
Zodiac Milpro is regarded as a global leader of military and professional Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB) and inflatables for naval operations, search and rescue, border security, law enforcement and special applications.
The Zodiac Hurricane H1300 is a brand new platform designed as a high capacity, long range interdiction craft. Designed on a patented MACH 2 (Military Air Channeled Hull 2) stepped aluminum hull, this craft features dual consoles, reconfigurable deck spaces fore and aft, dive access doors, and advanced propulsion control/vessel positioning systems. The dual consoles are fitted with a removable roof, and foldable mast and windscreen to reduce transportation height. With the true RHIB design and high speed capability, the H1300 provides an excellent pursuit and boarding platform.

2018 USASOC Sniper Comp – KF Armory, LLC’s Modular Interlocking Ballistic Barrier System
March 24th, 2018KF Armory, LLC, exhibited their Modular Interlocking Ballistic Barrier System (MIB²S) at the USASOC 9th Annual International Sniper Competition. We should do a preview earlier in the week, but there are a lot of questions about what the system looks like.
Essentially, they are ballistic building blocks Which defeat up to .50 BMG Armor Piercing Incendiary Tracer (APIT) and in recent Department of Defense testing successfully stopped multiple MK 211 .50 Caliber Raufoss rounds and multiple RPG-7 HE Fragmentary rounds. You can configure them in any number of ways and as they lock together freestanding, rather than using a cement, can be easily reconfigured in order to use them in other ways, or to replace destroyed blocks.
2018 USASOC Sniper Comp – SAIN Defense Firearm Cleaning System
March 23rd, 2018At the US Tactical Supply I finally got a chance to check out the SAIN Defense Firearm Cleaning System In person. The amount of thought, and work, that went into this thing is impressive.
It’s available in 5.56 and 7.62 versions. Either one come packed in a Coyote or MultiCam pouch. The contents consist of:
Rod Sections for the kit are 17-4PH Stainless steel and 360 Brass (7.62 sections). (NOTE: 5.56 sections do not have bore riders due to small bore diameter. Uses standard, commercial (COTS) 8-32 male bore attachments.) Brass bore riders (softer than the bore) keep rod centered, reinforce the section joints, and keep the stainless rod off of the bore. Rod sections are knurled for assembly/disassembly with wet hands and without the use of tools. The rod is extremely strong and precision manufactured.
Picatinny Rail Interface (Patented): 6061 aluminum. Allows the rod to spin freely, forms a conventional T-handle, and also allows the weapon fore grip to be used as a handle. Also equipped with a 3/8” drive socket attachment which may be used as a weapons maintenance tool.
US Tactical Supply has both versions on GSA schedule (GS-07F-0259N).
2018 USASOC Sniper Comp – KAC Lightweight Assault Machine Gun Update

I noticed a slight update to the Knight’s Armament Company Lightweight Assault Machine Gun we showed you last year.
The barrel remains 15″ but it’s now a heavy barrel and they added a handle. This, after user feedback, which told them that the original barrel was getting hot and some users didn’t want to have to change it out and others who said it was difficult to change without a handle when they wanted to. Knight’s made both changes.
I’ve got to tell you, it weighs under 9 lbs and carrying it outside to take a photo, it felt like a carbine rather than a belt fed.
2018 USASOC Sniper Comp – Shadow Tech Kestrel ATI Wind Wrap

The Kestrel ATI Wind Wrap from Shadow Tech (makers of the HOG Saddle) allows you to attach your Kestrel to Slings, Tripod Legs or PALS webbing (via MALICE Clip). But the most important features are that it maintains full operation and function of the wind meter and protects sensor holes from being obstructed by mud and debris.
It’s Berry Compliant and available in Coyote for the Kestrel 4500 or 5700.

2018 USASOC Sniper Comp – Geissele Automatics M110 Capability Enhancement Package

It’s a Sniper Competition so Geissele Automatics exhibited their M110 Capability Enhancement Package, an upper receiver group based on their VSASS rifle, but designed to fit a Knight’s Armament Co M110 lower.
It features the guts of the VSASS, Geissele Fire Control components (SSA-E Trigger) and a collapsible stock. The barrel is 16.5″.
