BG Thomas H Todd III Assumes Command of the Natick Soldier Systems Center

During a ceremony on 24 November, 2015, officated by MG John Wharton, BG Thomas H Todd III assumed command of the Natick Soldier Systems Center from BG William Cole. BG Todd also serves as deputy commanding general of the US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, or RDECOM, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

BG Todd comes to Natick from Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, where he was project manager, Utility Helicopters, Program Executive Office, Aviation. There, he led the UH-60M Black Hawk Program into a five-year multi-year contract, achieved program initiation approval for the Improved Turbine Engine Program and the H-60V Black Hawk Program, and fielded more than 500 UH/HH-60M and UH-72A aircraft to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Homeland Security and 35 international partners.

Congratulations to BG Todd on this assignment and best wishes to BG Cole as he departs Natick.

Team MultiCam – Baja 1000 Post Race Report

MultiCam Brand recently posted a post race report on the 48th SCORE International Baja 1000 and the efforts of Team MultiCam rider Jeff Benrud. The starting paragraph can be read below:

The 48th SCORE International Baja 1000 is in the record books and it proved to be a very successful one for Team MultiCam rider, Jeff Benrud. The Baja 1000 is the longest point-to-point off-road desert race in North America where the participants will race from start to finish throughout the approximately 1000 mile distance only stopping briefly for pit stops. This was Jeff’s 3rd Baja 1000 with the previous 2 as part of a relay team on a dirt bike. This year, however, he soloed the entire race. Jeff is an Army Special Operation veteran and now teaches defensive and offensive driving capabilities to the military special operations community at American Offroad with his business partner and off-road racing legend, Ricky Johnson.
