Panteao Productions – Two New Videos In The ‘Make Ready To Survive’ Series

February 3rd, 2015

Columbia, SC, February 2, 2015 – Panteao Productions is happy to announce the release of the next two video titles in the new Make Ready to Survive instructional video series.

Bugging Out and Shelter, Fire, Water are now available streaming to Panteao subscribers. The DVD versions will begin shipping this week.

The instructors in the series include former US Army Delta Operator Paul Howe, Dave Canterbury from the Pathfinder Self Reliance School, US Army Special Forces Green Beret Kyle Harth, disaster preparedness consultant and author Jim Cobb, and NE MacDougald, who started his career in Vietnam with the 519th Military Intelligence Bn (MACV), and today is an author and consultant.

Make Ready to Survive: Bugging Out
Bugging out. Entire books are written on this subject. In fact the subject warranted its own video in our series. What does it really mean? Are you prepared for having to leave where you are in a hurry? How about your family? What will you take with you? In this video instructors Paul Howe, Dave Canterbury, Jim Cobb, Kyle Harth, and N.E. MacDougald review the bug out bag, the different option between store bought assembled kits and putting the gear together yourself, what gear is essential for your bug out or get home bag, what specific tools and gear they keep in their bags, the pros and cons with different products, rehearsing the bug out plan, navigation, special considerations for bug out planning, and much more. If you like reviewing gear options this video is for you. Equally important, our instructors take the mystery out of gear selection and give you a down to earth approach to picking what you will end up relying on for both short and long term use.

Make Ready to Survive: Shelter, Fire, Water
Shelter, fire, and water are the basic elements of survival and are essential to preserving core body temperature. That is critical to your survival. In this video Dave Canterbury reviews your survival kit resources including making a fire, fire bed and fire lays, three stages of fuel, primitive fire resources, water collection, boiling water, clothing, shelters, and more. Dave Canterbury is a master woodsman with over 20 years of experience working in many dangerous environments. His common sense approach to survivability is recognized as one of the most effective systems of teaching known today. Understanding and knowing how to make a fire, how to secure drinking water, and how to build a shelter are the most important tools in your survival tool chest. This video gets you started down that path.

A total of 13 videos have been filmed in the Make Ready to Survive series. More info on the series can be found on the Panteao website at: panteao.com/survive

SilencerCo Won Best Booth Award At SHOT Show 2015

SilencerCo Given Coveted Award for Best Booth at SHOT Show 2015

SilencerCo SHOT 1

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH – Feb. 2, 2015 – SilencerCo, the industry leader in silencers and accessories, was awarded Best Booth at SHOT Show 2015 by prominent firearms marketing agency Primer Strategy. SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) Show is the firearms industry’s largest annual tradeshow, bringing nearly 70,000 people to Las Vegas each January.

SilencerCo 2

The accolade was given to recognize SilencerCo’s enclosed art gallery-style installation, which used 10 striking gallery wrapped portraits and more than 20 silenced firearms to kick off a yearlong protest theme – #FightTheNoise. The attention to detail employed the use of pasted playbills and posters affixed to an exposed brick façade – all to illustrate the gritty, street-worn feel made iconic by many of the most successful social movements of the past century.

SilencerCo 6

“While walking the SHOW Show floor we noticed a sea of repetition and lack of evolution from year to year – the same booths, same looks and same ideas,” said Katie Perrine, president of Primer Strategy. “Then we saw SilencerCo’s design and had to stop for a closer look. It really embodied what Primer sees as the new direction of the firearms industry – strong, creative, unconventional designs without fear of breaking traditions.”

SilencerCo 3

“Hopefully manufacturers in the upcoming years will enter the ‘race’ for the best design at SHOT,” added Primer’s creative director, Benjamin Forde, whose past accomplishments include art direction for FX’s Sons of Anarchy and HBO’s Generation Kill and The Pacific.

SilencerCo 4

#FightTheNoise – SilencerCo’s grass-roots campaign for gun owners to demand quieter firearms and fewer federal and state regulations on firearm silencers – will continue to be a major platform for mobilizing the public throughout 2015.

SilencerCo 5

“SilencerCo has always been an advocacy leader in our space, and with silencers growing faster than any other segment of the firearms industry, we thought it was time to get consumers involved in change for the better,” said SilencerCo CEO Josh Waldron. “Silencer owners can expect calls to action throughout the year, supporting the deregulation of silencer purchase and ownership, as well as their use in hunting applications.”

Phokus Research Group receives Patent for Low Profile Medical Kit

Patent covers a system configured to fit behind ballistic plates of a protective vest.

San Diego, CA, January 14, 2015 – The United States Patent and Trademark Office issues Patent No. 8,925,115 to Phokus Research Group for their Low Profile Medical Kit.

Battle tested in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Phokus Trauma Kit’s lightweight packaging allows for quick deployment in the field. The innovative pressure sealed, flat design allows operators to comfortably wear medical gear that is concealable and instantly accessible, eliminating the need for bulky external medical pouches.

Designed as a system to fit behind the ballistic plates of a protective vest, the kit is protected from shrapnel and tearing, is easily locatable and removable and does not effect the user’s freedom of movement. When the kit is removed from its protected location, it presents the medical trauma supplies in a logical and easily viewable manner.

Phokus Trauma Kits feature high quality, combat proven components that follow all Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Guidelines. The contents are packed for priority of care and are sealed within heavy-duty medical grade vinyl that provides weatherproof protection of critical medical supplies. Radio Frequency (RF) welded seams provide superior loss protection of valuable equipment. Available in four sizes, Phokus Trauma Kits are designed to suit every Operator’s needs.

“Being able to provide life saving medical gear that can be wore by an operator has always been our goal and we continue to innovate products for this life saving system.” said Steve Friedlander, VP Sales and Marketing of Phokus Research Group.
