Phokus Research Group has introduced a couple of new add-on kits for their Trauma Kits. One is the Boo-Boo with band aids and such and the other is this Bug Out Kit which offers basic survival items. These easily accessible mini kits can be added to Phokus Research kits, other brands or just used in their own.
The tubular Recon Wrap offers 8 functions in 1 product that can be worn in several ways and replaces the bandana for camp chores.
While the standard Spec-Ops Brand Recon Wrap is extremely popular, it is not FR. Owner Jeff Wemmer has always been a great friend to the military and wanted to introduce an FR versions for folks using it in an operational environment. Wemmer worked with DuPont to produce the Coyote dyed Nomex knit. It’s been on the market for awhile but it’s something I thought many of you might be interested in. The FR model is Coyote but the standard version is offered in a variety of colors including MultiCam print.
This vest is so new, it doesn’t even have a name yet. Designed to accept tye SPEAR BALCS soft and hard armor. It includes comms channels, incorprates a drag handle and the cummerbund is fully adjustable via Velcro.

Cejay Engineering has had a great job with the Neptune signal beacon. Based on this success they’ve introduced a Public Safety version in “come find me” Yellow. Additionally, they’ve swapped the lights out to Red, White and Blue and removed the IR LED. This helped lower the cost to make it more accessible by the civilian community.
