AVA Tactical Benelli M4 Light Mount

Disappointed with the current offering of flashlight mounts for the Benelli M4 shotgun, AVA Tactical made their own low-profile, ambidextrous mount. The Benelli M4 mount is made from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hard coat anodized with high quality Torx fasteners. It accommodates both 1″ and .8″ lights, tested with SureFire’s E Series, Scout, and 6 Series lights. It features a rotation limited quick disconnect Sling Boss. A low-profile rail with snag free design provides an option to mount an aiming laser on axis with the barrel. Also, AVA’s M4 mount doesn’t interfere with assembly and disassembly of the M4, allowing the shotgun retain its ability to be field striped without tools. Made in the USA.

Mystery Ranch Rapid Access Trauma System (RATS) Pack

Mystery Ranch’s RATS pack is designed as a frontline medic bag with every detail focused on quick, one-handed access to organized medical supplies. The RATS features multiple trauma shears and tourniquet holders throughout and large reinforced handles for hanging the pack on branches or inside helicopters. It’s sized so when mounted on the NICE frame, there is room below the pack for carrying litter or hydraulic combi tools.

Internally, the RATS features four removable pockets with clear vinyl windows and two IV bag pockets. An internal trash pocket allows the wearer to keep track of items used. Two internal sleeves allow for storage of splints and other long items. The removable Bolstered Ventilation and Stability (BVS) system optimizes the pack for uses with or without body armor. The back panel of the RATS stores a closed-cell foam pad to insulate patients from the ground.

John Williams III Retires As President/CEO Of U.S. Optics

With 23 years serving the optical industry John Williams III is retiring as president and CEO of the rapidly growing U.S. Optics Inc. Although John is leaving U.S. Optics he will continue to remain as a partner and shareholder along with Nick Baroldi and Arnold Vonbargen in the business. We wish John well in this next chapter in his life. When interviewed John said: “It’s been a great ride with U.S. Optics and as much as I will miss the day to day aspects of the business and the amazing people with whom I work, I am incredibly excited about taking on new challenges and exploring new horizons.”
