With an overwhelming interest in the Noveske Shooting Team Memorial slides Glockworx had made for The Noveske Shooting Team, they consulted the Noveske family with the idea of presenting a limited edition of the Noveske memorial Glock 17L slide to the public in order to honor industry pioneer John Noveske.

These slides are individually run and finished by hand and will accommodate any Glock frame in the 17-22, 34-35 and 17L-24 configurations.

50% of the proceeds from the sale of these slides will be given to the Family.

Commenting

May 19th, 2013

I am starting to wonder whether some of the commenters actually think about what they are posting or if the is some sort of compulsion at work. There have been some real humdingers lately. I’m not just talking about trashing a competing brand, I’m talking flat out dumb statements. Pig looking at a wristwatch stuff.

I have a feeling that there are norms at work here. What I might find appallingly stupid, another might consider ok to ‘say aloud.’ With the age of Twitter and Facebook, many feel that they can just post whatever silly thought crosses their mind, combine that with the relative anonymity that SSD offers and voila; recipe for stupidity.

What do you guys think?

May 19th, 2013

When I first wrote about the Tactcal Tailor SBR Bag, readers commented that it looked HUGE, so I asked KitUp!’s Dave Reeder to model it.

2 Cent Tactical Shemaghs

May 18th, 2013

Our friends at 2 Cent Tactical asked us to share this announcement.

Well after what has seemed like a massive uphill battle the long awaited second run of 2 Cent Tactical shemaghs is finally in stores. In this whole process we have had to deal with design theft, incompetent shipping companies causing massive delays and of course the delay of me getting enough money to do a large enough order to last a bit.

30% of what we sell these to the retailers for goes to Wounded Warriors. The rest of the money goes back into other projects to help to continue to raise money for charity. When all is said and done we will have raised over $750 dollars for Wounded Warriors and be able to do a new run of patches.

The shemaghs have our skull maple leaf logo in them and are quite large to allow for shrinking when washed.

Due to the design theft we are also including one of our logo patches with each shemagh so that you can tell you are buying a legitimate item that is going to charity.

Thank you all for your suppourt during this time and head on over to our friends at One Shot Tactical and pick up some of these bad boys.

Gunfighter Moment – Larry Vickers

May 18th, 2013

‘ When attending a training class do yourself and your classmates a big favor; use electronic hearing protection. This allows you to actually listen to what the instructor is saying without having to constantly ask those around you on the firing line who happen to be wearing electronic ear pro.

Bottomline is if you own a smartphone then you have no excuse to not own electronic hearing protection . Enough said.’
