Warrior West – New Balance

New Balance developed an FR bra and boy short to fill the capability gap in the Army’s Fire Resistant Environmental Ensemble. They were designed for New Balance by a former Moving Comfort employee with a great deal of experience creating performance undergarments for females.
New Balance models in a similar fabric are already issued to deploying females in the Air Force, the bras and boy short are currently stocked at AAFES MCSS in 120 stores for private purchase.

Warrior West – Oakley
April 26th, 2013The LSA ( Land Sea Air) Terrain and Water boots have been out for about a year but they’ve been updated from earlier models. The uppers are the same for both models.
The Terrain boot features a Lenzi puncture resistant sole and incorporates drainage holes like found on he old Jungle Boot. Currently, these are a 6″ boot but Oakley is working on an 8″ version. Available in MultiCam, Black, Desert and Coyote sizes 6-13, 14.
The LSA Boot Water uses ribbon laces as well as Scothguard treatment to lower water absorption. The quick drain sole relies on steel mesh to protect the foot and stippling for a sure grip on wet surfaces.
Warrior West – Steiner
April 25th, 2013The Steiner 8 x 30 LRF is a compact bino with built in laser range finder. The LRF has a range out to 1700 m for hard targets and 1200 for soft targets and can be set for meters or yards with a simple double click. Additionally, it can be used for single measurements or in scan mode.
Unlike other brands with a center focus knob, this model incorporates an auto focus feature. It’s also waterproof to 5 meters. With a CR2 battery (not a typo) you can expect 5000 measurements and it turns itself off in less than a minute to save battery life with zero latency when restarted.
