Line of Fire Grip System

January 8th, 2012

Some very exciting news from Line of Fire. At SHOT Show, they are unveiling their new Line of Fire Grip System. They’ve partnered with TangoDown and US PALM to introduce several new products that are designed to accept TEGS tape in order to take full advantage of the Technology Enhanced Grip System (TEGS). TEGS is a patented micro-replication technology developed by 3M that provides superior grip in both wet and dry conditions. Much like a gecko’s palm, it has thousands of tiny hooks that mesh with one another.

Additionally, LOF is introducing 9 new glove models as well as improvements to their existing line. Visit them in booth #25513.

Liquid Eyewear T Flex

January 8th, 2012

Liquid’s new T Flex sunglasses double as goggles. Relying on a patent pending rubber hinge, you can open and close the temples as many times as you like and has been tested at ranges from 60 below zero and 275 F. Additionally, the T Flex can easily be converted to a goggle by clicking off the hinges and clicking on a goggle strap.

See the new T Flex in Liquid’s booth #6608 at SHOT Show or visit www.liquidpolarized.com.

Agilite Injured Personnel Carrier

January 7th, 2012

The IPC came about when soldiers from one of the IDF’s elite units were connecting four rifle slings together and carrying injured soldiers like a backpack. Agilite turned the concept into a product, added built-in padding and several other features and now it’s a more efficient alternative to the traditional fireman’s and piggyback carry techniques that keeps both hands free. As you can see in the video, it is lightweight and simple to apply. It also allows you to carry the wounded piggyback style, hand free.

Agilite has some other big news. They have just shifted their production to the US to get the best quality manufacturing around as well as be Berry Compliant. They now design in Israel and manufacture in the US which they feel is the absolute best of both worlds.

What is GSS Gear Up To?

January 7th, 2012

GSS Gear has a splash page up in place of their standard home page. With it not going live until Tuesday the 17th (which incidentally coincides with the first day of SHOT Show), all we can do is wonder what they’re up to.
