October 8th, 2011Source One Distributors, Inc., announced that it has spun off its Source One Tactical division into a new and separate company, Source One Tactical, Inc. (SOT). It is Source One’s intent to provide a seamless transition of the operations of the division into its own separate entity.
Source One Tactical, Inc. will focus its effort towards developing product designs for the Military and Law enforcement communities that address essential mission critical needs and solve unique problems in an innovative fashion. Another key strategy for Source One Tactical will be consistent investments into research and development initiatives and cultivating a line of products and services that improve the overall safety, precision, speed and quality of Military and Law enforcement operations. SOT will also manufacture a variety of end items with a primary focus on Military and Law enforcement products, as well as some products that will carry-over into the commercial outdoor sportsman markets.
In a statement regarding the evolution of Source One Tactical, Inc., E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year and Source One President & CEO, Mark Llano said:

An Improved Remington ACR? Is It True?
October 8th, 2011We heard rumors of a new, upgraded Remington ACR in August and that it would be debuted at Modern Day Marine. When we stopped by the Remington Military Products booth and inquired about this new, improved Adaptive Combat Rifle we were told to look for it at AUSA.
So, has anybody else heard anything about this mystery weapon?

10 Years at War
October 7th, 2011Ten years ago today marked the beginning of ground combat in Afghanistan, essentially launching the war on terror. This is the longest war our Nation has yet waged. It is a foundry that forged the most lethal and experienced military the world has ever seen.
As we enter our second decade of war, think of our troops, both serving and veteran, and do what you can to support them and their families. Whether it’s building protective products or weapon systems, caring for the wounded, donating to military and veteran charities, or just offering an ear to listen, these men and women need the support of the Nation.
