John “Shrek” McPhee called me a couple of weeks ago, telling me that he was launching a podcast along with co-host Spencer Pratt. I didn’t realize that he already had two webisodes in the can.

Sheriff of Baghdad’s Condom Holster is a hand-made leather holster available for many common handgun models. It’s a minimalist design which covers the slide and rear sight, includes internally sewn front sight channels, and removes all sharp edges towards the body for comfort. It can either be worn inside the waistband or clipped into a 5.56 or .308 MOLLE mag pouch.
Available in Left-hand and Right-hand configurations in either Black or Brown.

The Sheriff of Baghdad is a street fightin’ man. He’s introduced the SOB PUNCHER which is an exclusive design incorporating what he claims are all of the necessary elements of the perfect Push Dagger. Created as an emergency, tertiary or backup dagger, the SOB PUNCHER is an inside the waistband or belt or hand carried dagger. McPhee says it is best when worn centerline of the body, so in case of emergency it can be grabbed easily with either hand.
My passion for the operators or officers putting their lives on the line started this dagger. It was finished by real world and past experiences of these situations led to the perfect design and storage of the SOB PUNCHER.

John McPhee aka Shrek aka Sheriff of Baghdad is a top-tier firearms trainer. Now, he’s launched an entirely new way of providing feedback to shooters. Gunfighter University utilizes analysis of video of the shooter combined with online feedback. McPhee has been using the Coach’s Eye software for several years now and has even been recognized by Coach’s Eye for his innovative methods.
But, Gunfighter U takes the whole thing to a different level. McPhee offers an affordable option for those who can’t make it to a formal class by offering individualized coaching based on the videos you provide. He’ll take a look at the mechanics of your shot (stance, presentation and grip) and recommend changes. Additionally, he continues to offer class enrollment for those so inclined.
His methodology is straight forward. It’s a three-strep process that can be accomplished virtually anywhere you can shoot your firearm and record yourself.

Like we told you, the Sheriff is back and he’s peeling back the curtain a little to show us what he’s been up to. In this video, John McPhee shows us some of his training methodology and how he uses Coach’s Eye, a sports training app, to record and review a student’s performance. I’m a big fan of this app which is generally used in the mainstream sports community and McPhee has been leveraging this technology for several years to improve his students’ performance.
