Vertx has built a few versions of their new EDC pack line in some rather no traditional colors. If there is enough interest to put these in production, they will take the low profile designs to the next level of blending in to crowds as they make their way though the urban sprawl. There are several concepts floating around including what you see here.

Here is a final, production sample of the new PPE Top purchased as a non-FR version of the combat shirt for USAF Security Forces.

Salewa has a whole slew of new models coming and we will give you full coverage during next month’s Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. But, we though we should give you a little taste of what’s to come.
To the left in the photo above, you see the new Wildfire Vent. It features a slightly wider last than precious Salewa approach shoes. The mesh upper incorporates to-toe lacing, and they’ve included the one piece insole from the Gore Surround models. The Wildfire Pro to the right is offered in Gore and non-Gore models and was developed based on feedback from Jackson Hole mountain guides. They’ve introduced a side opening tongue to go with the to-toe lasting. Both models of the Wildfire incorporate a new Vibram sole with rubber that is 20% stickier.
The Aurora Radio Control System is an add on to the CIRLS which is a modular system consisting of battery box paired with one of their light heads. The CIRLS allows use of AA or CR123A batteries in the same box.
Aurora fits between the battery box and the light. It offers a 2-mile range using mesh technology and will control up to 99 beacons via 10 channels.
Due to the use of their 3-prong connection, you can use Aurora to upgrade any existing CIRLS unit.
