Based at Leupold’s Beaverton, Oregon, manufacturing facility, the Tech Services staff can help callers resolve issues, answer usage questions or even help customers decide which Leupold product is right for their needs. With decades of combined experience on staff, the Tech Services department can handle almost any question thrown its way.

Mission Ready Announces PTF Manufacturing

Mission Ready Services Inc has announced a new manufacturing division, PTF Manufacturing Inc, located in Jacksboro, Tennessee.

Jeff Schwartz, who some of you may remember from LC Industries,will run PTFM which will offer tactical outerwear, canine armor, bomb suits/blankets, riot control protection, carriers, textiles with integrated electronics and ballistic panels.

“The PTF Manufacturing team brings significant value to our existing and future relationships through a wealth of skills and experience that will enable us to efficiently deliver quality, custom tactical and armor products,” states Rod Reum, President & CEO of Mission Ready Services Inc. “The ability to manufacture the products we have developed will allow us to retain margins internally, bid more competitively, control quality and preserve our know how.”

They’ve already established over 30 dealers, and I’m looking forward to seeing the technologies they’ve developed, like the Ballistic Combat Shirt, brought to market.

The choice of establishing manufacturing in Tennessee, was wise. Many textile manufacturers are located in Tennessee. In their case, they’re located in a Tennessee HubZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zone) and they’ve been offered tax credits and business incentives which could amount to over $1 Million in the first year alone.

Haley Strategic Partners – D3CRX

HSP has introduced a new version of their popular Disruptive Environments Chest Rig with an X-style harness. The rifle magazine pouches still accept AR type magazines as well as AK 7.62 x39mm and 5.45 x 39 magazines but it has a couple of changes from the original. For example, they’ve added two Multi-Mission pouches which accept standard double or single stack pistol magazines, as well as many handheld lights, multi-tools, and 37mm/40mm grenades. Additionally, the full Velcro field allows the rig to be outfitted with the latest D3CR accessories as well as assist in full contact connection with plate carriers. Finally, as you can see below, the removable the X harness features a floating overlap which will move with you.

Shellback Tactical – Plano Police Select Banshee Plate Carrier

Shellback Tactical is proud to announce that the Original Banshee Plate Carrier in Black has been selected by the Plano Police Department (Plano, TX). The Plano Police Department is the 4th largest agency in Texas and located just 30 mins North of Dallas. With the recent unfathomable, cowardly, tragic incident that occurred in Dallas against Law Enforcement. This Life-saving equipment is important more than ever.

For the evaluation. The Plano Police Department put a team together to evaluate plate carriers for the agency. They evaluated approx. 10 potential carriers. After their in depth evaluation they selected the Banshee Plate Carrier for several reasons. Ease of use, the range of officers the carrier would fit, price point, quality and long term durability. They will be issuing and fielding 350 Banshee Plate Carriers to start into their patrol division. The Banshee has also been adopted as their official carrier and will be issued to all new hire officers as well.

Shellback Tactical is happy to have been evaluated and selected. In the current environment of Law Enforcement being targeted, it is great to see another Police agency preparing and investing in their personnel.
