United under one banner and one name, MehlerProtection, Lindnerhof, and UF PRO will exhibit at thisyear’s Eurosatory in Paris, France, from 17-21 June. Their offerings will be showcased at Mehler Systems’ booth, no. K280.

Held every two years, Eurosatory is a vital global eventthat brings together manufacturers and key players in the fields of public and private defence and security.

Mehler Protection’s focus will be on presenting therevolutionary ExoM Up-Armoured Exoskeleton. Initiatedby the GIGN (Intervention Group for FrenchGendarmerie) and co-developed through a collaborativeeffort between Mehler Protection and Mawashi Science & Technology funded by the Defence Innovation Agency(DIA), this groundbreaking product is meticulouslycrafted to deliver top-tier ballistic protection withoutimposing additional weight on the operator. Additionally, the spotlight will be on the M.U.S.T. system (ModularUniversal Scalable Technology), developed in cooperation with Lindnerhof and renowned for itsadaptability and versatile configurability, women’s soft-ballistic panels, and the Omega ballistic helmets line. In addition, the company will display its extensive range ofballistic protection for platforms. These solutions include3D-printed window frames, weapon station shields, advanced armour for land vehicles and other solutionswithin the Mehler Protection M-RACC family.

On the other side of the booth, Lindnerhof will be presenting its extensive portfolio of functional carryingsystems and high-quality, modular equipment for tacticaloperations. From plate carriers, modular bags and beltsystems to the revolutionary heavy load carrying system, also known as “The Beast” – a versatile 5-in-1 carryingsystem and one of this year’s highlights. Also takingcentre stage will be brand new tactical equipment forclimbing and abseiling, which can be put together usingeither a chest harness that can be integrated into theplate carrier or a chest harness with quick releasefunction and the “Shikari” waist harness.

UF PRO will focus on showcasing the versatility of theirStriker garment systems line. Highlights include theStriker FR garment system, which offers robustprotection against flames and intense heat and theStriker X line, engineered to meet the demands ofmilitary special operation personnel. What’s more, UF PRO is coming out with the never-seen-before Striker TT line, designed for hot and humid weather and the lightestin their BDU lineup. Wilcox Industries Wins Significant Contract to Supply the Ruggedized Aiming/Illumination Device – Enhanced [RAID Xe] to the Dutch Armed Forces

NEWINGTON, NH – In early 2024, Wilcox delivered the Wilcox RAID Xe to the Dutch Armed Forces following its selection after several months of rigorous testing and verification throughout 2023. The contract, awarded in late 2023, encompassed a substantial quantity of the Wilcox RAID Xe compact and potent laser aiming device.

The Wilcox Ruggedized Aiming/Illumination Device – Enhanced, commonly referred to as the RAID Xe, stands out as one of the most compact laser aiming devices currently available in the market today. Equipped with several integrated features, such as a dedicated room illuminator and a customizable remote port compatible with a variety of remotes, the RAID Xe distinguishes itself from other competitors. The RAID Xe comes in black or coyote/black exterior housings, offering red or green visible lasers, along with remote pads tailored to meet the specific needs of end users. Employing VCSEL laser diode technology for sharp and clear illumination, the RAID Xe represents the pinnacle of advanced design, all contained within a housing the size of a business card and weighing under 360 grams.

The selection process and subsequent award were achieved through collaboration and support via our Master Distributor for the BENELUX and the Scandinavian Region, ARLE – Applied Research Laboratory Europe. Manufacturing of the RAID Xe unit (pictured below) will take place at Wilcox’s expanding headquarters facility in Newington, NH, USA.

MATBOCK Monday: Multi Weapon Aiming Device (MWAD)

The Multi Weapon Aiming Device (MWAD) is a multi-platform capable ballistic computer that digitally displays range and azimuth for indirect fire weapon systems. The MWAD provides real-time ballistic solutions accounting for environmental conditions, round type, platform, and lot deviations, allowing the user to put rounds on target more accurately and in less time than legacy aiming systems. Full integration into ATAK architecture allows receipt of call for fire missions, informs team leaders of aim point for entire teams, and enables accurate engagement of moving targets. The MWAD is compatible with 40mm and 60mm and has various crew-served weapon platforms. Software modifications can be made on request to include any direct-fire weapons system.

NRAAM 24 – SIG SAUER

SIG has an amazing booth, easily the largest at the show, but there’s not much new on display. In addition to showcasing SIG Connect which is an app-based entertainment and training platform, there are a couple of gems to be found here and there.

One of those is this concept for a version of the Cross bolt action rifle featuring wood furniture.

At this point they haven’t decided whether they are going to do it or not and are soliciting feedback. Personally, I like it.

NRAAM 24 – Streamlight

Streamlight invoked their new TLR-7 HL-X USB which is a multi-fuel, high lumen, high candela weapon light. It uses one SL-B9 USB rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack or one CR123A lithium battery.

Features:

• SL-B9: 1,000 lumens; 22,000 candela; 297m beam; runs 30 minutes (default)

• CR123A: 500 lumens; 11,000 candela; 210m beam; runs 1.5 hours

• User-programmable strobe can be enabled or disabled

• “Safe off” feature prevents accidental activation, saves batteries
