Based on user requirements we decided to locate a release buckle on the side of the pouch, which gives the user an easy way of fastening and unbuckling the pouch on their waist. The waistband is made of durable webbing that is 1.5″ wide. Additionally, outside of the pouch, we located some webbing straps for attaching carabiners, chemlights, etc. Up front, the pouch is made of elastic fabric, that likes to nicely stretch to carried objects. The back is laid out with 500D Cordura to prevent the pouch from unwanted abrasion.

EOTECH Vudu 3-9×32 SFP

At just 6.8″ in length the new EOTECH Vudu 3-9×32 SFP is a super short variable power optic.

It is fog, water, and shock resistant, with capped ¼ MOA turrets and a second focal plane design. An illuminated reticle with 10 brightness settings runs up to 300 hours on a CR2032 battery and its integrated base is compatible with mini-ACOG mounts. For added versatility, a version with a ring mount and EFLX™ sight allows non-magnified targeting, mountable at the top or 45-degree angles for dynamic use.

Coming Soon: The Folding Defensive Platform from Magpul x ZEV

I know, I know, you’ve heard it before, but they really mean it this time guys. Magpul partnered with ZEV Technologies (now owned by SilencerCo) to bring the Folding Defensive Platform or FDP over the finish line.

First unveiled as the FMG-9 during SHOT Show 2008, it eventually became two separate firearms based on the same technology, the FDP (pistol) and FDC with the C for Carbine or SBR variant (requires ATF approval) after Magpul teamed with ZEV in 2021. Since then, we’ve had an annual update on the status around SHOT Show. However, I’m told the firearms are ready and sales should begin this quarter.

Although these are based on the Magpul design, they will only be available for sale from ZEV Technologies which shows a current price of $1699.

I must say, the images and video look like they’ve got it together. Hopefully, it’s really happening. I really want one.
