BCA 3.0 OWB Gun Holster

When Bravo Concealment designed the new BCA 3.0 Gun Holster, they added a retention setting allowing the user to go from a medium light retention to a very heavy retention. They also eliminated material from the bottom corners to make it smaller and lighter. Finally, they now use a diversified Polymer plastic that is known for its ideal balance between rigidity, impact strength and hardness to protect your firearm at all times.

• NEW Solid locking adjustable retention
• NEW Minimalist Design for even more all day comfort
• NEW Polymer plastic provides supreme rigidity and impact strength assuring protection of your firearm.
• Designed for outside the waistband carry, but can easily be converted to inside the waistband by swapping out the belt loops with our IWB belt clips.
• 10° cant enhances concealment under loose garments.
• Robust 1.50” or 1.75” injection molded belt loops prevent breakage even under rigorous use.
• Belt loops can be replaced with Belt Clips for inside the waistband carry.
• The BCA creates adequate room for a positive grip thus enabling a smooth draw with solid weapon retention.
• All edges on holster are rounded for comfort.
• All holsters are curved to fit the contours of your body.

ADAPTIVX Integrated Waistband System

Friday, August 10th, 2018

I stopped by Dynamis Alliance the other day and they were going over some marketing materials for their ADAPTIVX line. Right now, it consists of jeans, but the core of the brand is the IWS (Integrated Waistband System).

Granted, I had seen it in the past, but I was focused primarily on its use for concealed carry of a firearm. But then I started to look at the different inserts they had available and consider other uses. It’s then when I realized that they are redefining concealability. Consider that as long as their has been money, there have been pickpockets. The defense has long been some form of money belt. IWS will do that and more, offering options for concealed carry of a wide variety of items, whether they are valuables, electronics or weapons for self defense. I know you’ll groan, but I have to say it, “This is Adaptive.”

From jogging outdoors during a workout – to operating in environments overseas – IWS is an essential part of your ability to blend in and be prepared.

They are working on new styles and additional modules. I look forward to seeing where this goes.

Out Now – Perun LC for Glock 19M + TLR-7/8

Thursday, August 2nd, 2018

Today, Raven Concealment Systems announced the release of the latest addition to their Perun LC outside-the-waistband holster line:  The Glock 19M with Streamlight TLR-7 and TLR-8.

Because RCS bases the the overall length of the holster off the dimensions of the weapon light, this model is the most compact Perun LC RCS has produced so far, thanks entirely to the small size of the TLR-7.

This holster is designed to accommodate Gen 5 Glock 19’s with either a Streamlight TLR-7 or TLR-8 weapon light attached.  While it will certainly also fit Gen 3 and 4 guns as well, the fit will be optimal with the latest Glock 19M pistol.  However, since the Perun LC has adjustable retention, end-users can dial the retention in to suit their tastes.

Like the rest of the Perun and Perun LC line, this holster is ambidextrous, and comes with 1.5″ belt loops configurable for either 0-degree or 10-degree cant.

They are in stock and shipping now, priced at $49.99.  They are Made in USA and backed by Raven Concealment’s unconditional lifetime warranty.  You can order by clicking here.

Triggrcon 18 – Tenicor Velo AIWB Holster

Saturday, July 28th, 2018

As soon as I walked into Tenicor’s booth, I noticed that the Velo was different than other Appendix Carry, Inside the Waistband Holsters. Most are minimalist designs but this one had some extra bumps in places holsters don’t usually have bumps.

Turns out, Tenicor put some serious thought into this design. So much so, that they won a Golden Trigger award for innovation in firearm accessories.

Those bumps I mentioned are actually a raised trigger bar at the front and multi-angled muzzle wedge at the rear which combine to rotate the grip up and into the body.

It works. Tap Rack Tactical’s Bill Blowers uses the holster exclusively. Here’s a photo of Tenicor founder Jeff Mau appendix carrying a full size Sig P320.

Granted, it prints a bit, buts also a full sized gun. Compacts disappears as they are rotated toward the curve of the abdomen.

The Velo offers great adjustment options for the three types of attachments.

T1 CLIP | The Tenicor T1 belt clip by Discreet Carry Concepts leverages strength and durability with unique Tenicor designed slots.  This intelligent design feature allows the clip to adjust vertically up to 0.45 inches providing subtle ride height adjustment.  The dual screws provide stability, and the staggered height slots keep the overall length trim.

CLOSED SOFT LOOP | This is the most durable and concealable option.  If you want the holster to stay in place in the most extreme circumstances, then this is the option for you.  The closed loops are extremely low profile to reduce unnecessary bulges.

SNAP LOOP | A convenient full loop option, the snap loops allow the holster to be taken on and off without removing the belt.

The Velo is available for an ever growing list of firearms, so check their site to see if they have your needs covered.
