IWA 19 – Blackhawk Rotating Belt Loop

Friday, March 8th, 2019

Developed for the Hessian Police in Germany by Blackhawk, this Rotating Belt Loop allows the wearer to drop the holster out of the way of body armor, yet not have to remove the holster and reposition it, when seated in a vehicle.

This is thanks to two rotating joints which move with the pull of a single lever. Below, you can see it mounted to a belt.

The next two images show it in use.

As you can see, the pistol remains accessible, forward of seatbelts.

The Rotating Belt Loop will work with a variety of holster.

IWA 19 – MultiTarn Drück At Linderhof Taktik

Friday, March 8th, 2019

Two years ago, Lindernerhof Taktik introduced the MultiTarn Drück (multicamouflage print in English) uniform made from WL Gore’s Pyrad FR treated fabric for German Special Forces. Below is the latest version seen at the WL Gore stand.

This year, they are showing the first of the armor and load carriage suite which will be used in conjunction with that uniform.

The plate carrier is based on a previous Lindnerhof boarding vest design.

The gear includes pouches as well as back panels.

You may notice a new buckle design on the vest. Recently patented, it boasts a pull strength of 300 lbs for the 1″ buckle and over 400 lbs for the 4″ buckle.

IWA 19 – Spuhr MP5 Stock Adapter

Friday, March 8th, 2019

Originally developed for the G3, this stock adapter was modified for a Police agency to use with the MP5. However, there were concerns about using the SMG’s iron sights so the stick was lowered on the adapter an a quickly removable comb was introduced. With the comb in place, the eye is in line with an optical sight. With it removed the eye is on the iron sight plane.

This will only work on the MP5 and not the G3 due to the G3’s buffer.

IWA 19 – Chiappa CBR-9 Black Rhino

Friday, March 8th, 2019

Today, Chiappa is unveiling the CBR-9 Black Rhino which is a finished version of the Tanfoglio SMG.

The CBR9 is a 9mm personal defense weapon which fires from proprietary magazines in 18 or 30 rounds. Controls are ambidextrous. Interestingly, the firing pin is said to come in from the top. While it is shown here with a collapsible stock, I understand they plan to introduce a pistol to the US with a stabilizing brace. I would imagine that the collapsible foregrip won’t be on that version.

This time it was one of our stickers in a stand at Enforce Tac.

Enforce Tac 19 – LMS Gear Flannel Shirt

Thursday, March 7th, 2019

LMS Gear is introducing a flannel shirt, to go along with Multi Utility Denim.

At the front you can see the asymmetric pockets with a regular flapped shirt pocket on the left side of the shirt and a small pocket with pen slot on the right. Interestingly, this pocket is accessible through the armpit of an armor vest. Additionally, midway down the front opening is a slot for sun glasses.

The shirt also features patched elbows for durability.

The sides of the hem feature a Cordura patch for durability, to avoid tearing when pulling the shirt for a draw from conceal.

At the left and right of the shirt, just behind the side seam are low-profile pockets which will accept a single 30 rd magazine.

Sneak Peek – FK BRNO PSD Multi Caliber Pistol

Thursday, March 7th, 2019

I am in Nurnberg Germany doing IWA stuff and got a preview of a promotional video for FK BRNO’s PSD, their new Polymer, Multi Caliber Pistol, making its debut here at the show. In addition to the bottle neck 7.5 FK round, caliber changes to both 9mm and 10mm are as simple as a barrel swap

Right now, I’m only able to share these two images but I’ll get a lot more information once the show opens on Friday.

What are you really going to like is the price. Their all steel field pistol goes for about $7500, while this new Polymer version will retail somewhere around $2000.
