Based on user requirements we decided to locate a release buckle on the side of the pouch, which gives the user an easy way of fastening and unbuckling the pouch on their waist. The waistband is made of durable webbing that is 1.5″ wide. Additionally, outside of the pouch, we located some webbing straps for attaching carabiners, chemlights, etc. Up front, the pouch is made of elastic fabric, that likes to nicely stretch to carried objects. The back is laid out with 500D Cordura to prevent the pouch from unwanted abrasion.
