Mayflower has just announced that they are adding A-TACS AU to their lineup of color choices.
Ares Armor has just released their new Satellite Ruck. It fits right in between the daypack-sized Combat XII Pack and full-sized Atlas Ruck as a mid-range patrol pack. The Satellite Ruck fits to an ALICE Frame and is manufactured from 1000D Cordura. Additionally, it accepts the Combat XII Pack to make a modular pack for approach and actions on the objective.
It comes with the padded Atlas Shoulder Straps and Kidney pad, as well as an Alice frame. An integrated top flap includes organization pouches as well as a panel with nylon daisy chain and webbing for securing small tools.
The pack will be offered in Black, Coyote, MultiCam and A-TACS AU & FG. Additionally, you will be able to purchase it along with the optional Combat XII Pack for additional stowage.
Available now for pre-order from www.predatorbdu.com, with a 15 March release date.
A few weeks ago we showed you samples of Grey Ghost Lightweight Assault Packs in Hyde Definition’s PenCott camouflage.
They are now available in BadLands, GreenZone and SandStorm at the amazingly low price of $79!
See that? It’s an inflatable frame sheet.
Here it is mounted in a Cilo Gear pack. It’s designed to take the place of traditional HDPE and aluminum stay combo frame sheets. Not only does it provide some padding, but it also provides rigidity. It has a positive correlation with the load meaning, the more you put into your pack (up to 40 lbs) the more it compresses the frame sheet and the more rigid it becomes. It can bend 35-38 degrees before it impinges making it comfortable in a wider variety of positions.
Inflated with air rather than Noble-tek, it features an inflation valve which accepts a hand pump or the sheet can be orally inflated as well. It’s already in one climbing pack and Cilo Gear is converting soon.
Over the Summer, Watershed showed us a cool waterproof iPad case. At SHOT Show they gave a peek at their Clutch Smartphone Case. As you can see, it’s got ample room for your phone and it can be used while inside the bag. With additional room for other gear, it can be folded in thirds for portage and stowage. What’s REALLY cool is that it integrates an ITW Military Products Cat Snap which is adjustable based on how much you’ve stuffed in your bag.
Due to numerous customer requests, Kifaru developed the new Koala Lite as a slimmed down version of the popular Koala. Manufactured from 500D Cordura, it features a standalone pistol compartment and accepts a series of specialized panels on the front. These include flat PALS, 2 inch deep organizer and flat zip pocket which attach using the lock n load system.
We have long been fans of SOTech’s Go Pack and now they’ve made a couple of upgrades. For example, they now offer two straps on the Go Pack, Go Bag, and Go Bag Extended.
This allows for some different carry options, adding stability and versatility to switch between a sling bag and a backpack-style carry. Interestingly, the traps overlap and seal when a cross-body bag is desired, or the straps split equally for a comfortable, center-line, backpack carry option. Additionally, they have been internally upgraded and lined with Velcro.
