About the PT Dueling Tree

Train for speed and accuracy under pressure or just have fun competing against friends with the innovative PT Dueling Tree – the target made for two.

The PT Dueling Tree has six reactive paddles for interactive training and competitive fun. Designed to swing from one side to the other when hit, the paddles challenge shooters’ target location and speed under the pressure of head-to-head competition. Because it’s made of 3/8” AR500 armor steel, the standard PT Dueling Tree is designed for handgun ammunition up to .44 Magnum and .45 ACP. Whether it’s intensive training you’re looking for or just a way to have fun on the weekends, the PT Dueling Tree has exactly what you need.

The PT Dueling Tree consists of a forward leaning center stand which allows gravity to do the work as the six reactive armor steel paddles swing from one side to the other when shot. Because the target is gravity reset and doesn’t rely on springs or mechanisms, the PT Dueling Tree gives you reliable results every time. A deceptively simple design also makes it easy to assemble and disassemble. Each target paddle slides into two rings on the back of the stand that hold it securely in place but still allow for unrestricted movement and easy assembly and disassembly.

Specifications:
Height: 5’
Weight: 110 lbs.
Paddles: 6” diameter
Steel Grade: 3/8” AR500
Handgun Shooting Distance: 10 yards+ (This target is not rated for use with rifle ammunition) *

The team joined the Navy SEAL veteran and CrossFit Games Director in the gym to get his take on the bizarre gun restrictions found out west.

“A lot of people are not into shooting because of the noise issue. Suppressors help take that away. It’s insane [that we can’t have suppressed firearms] in places like California… I know people who refuse to live [here] because of the gun laws.”

Dave also shares his story of growing up around guns and how they helped define his life and contributed to his passion for elite competitive fitness.

Griffin Armament Low-Pro RIGID Rail Kits Available

Sunday, July 17th, 2016

105

The design objective for the Griffin Low-Pro RIGID rails were to provide a slim, ultralight M-LOK rail, with increased rigidity over current similar market options.

“We had been looking at the market for a while and noticed that there were two types of rails essentially. Rails that were beefy and strong, and rails that were slim and unfortunately weaker. We wanted to combine the desirable attributes of both category products into one optimal rail system.”, Austin stated, Primary owner and Lead engineer for Griffin. He went on, “The final design resulted in 70% more rigidity than current similar market slim rails. This is important for those who need to use IR lasers as armed professionals or for hunting. There are a lot of great options now in IR laser aimer products that have solid mounting and solid bodies and we wanted to make a slim rail that provided industry leading point of aim / point of impact for those aimers.”

f2

Low-Pro RIGID rails feature a 7075 aluminum barrel nut which can be installed with the included Griffin Armorers Wrench. The mounting is done with included shims and flat head cap screws for an ultra-flush and low profile mating to the receiver. 17-4 stainless QD flush cups are included which thread into the barrel nut through holes in the rail.

The kits include the Griffin Primo Gas Block, a 416R stainless .750” ID gas block which can be set screwed in place and / or pinned.

    GunfightersINC CAS/C5S IWB Holster

    Thursday, July 14th, 2016

For Immediate Release: The current market trends show an overwhelming push towards lightweight, highly concealable single stack pistols. These pistols are easy to carry and with the right holster, are barely noticeable under a wide array of cover garments. The major trade-off with a single stack 9mm is capacity. Even with a +1 or +2 baseplate, you are still sitting at half the round count of a double stack pistol such as a Glock 19. While it is certainly an option to carry magazines in pockets or in a separate pouch, we wanted to offer a system that would allow you to have a spare magazine at the ready in a streamlined low-profile system.

The CAS/C5S IWB Holster is available in two configurations: The CAS positions the firearm vertical for easy concealment and your magazine at 30° angle for the fastest and most natural possible in the 12 O’clock position. The C5S is designed to sit on the strong side of the body, with a canted firearm (10-15°) and slightly canted magazine (10°) for fast draw and minimal printing in the 3-5 O’clock position. The rounds are set to face toward the firearm to enhance quick reloads. The holster is contoured to have a steep curve that pulls the firearm and magazine into the body to reduce printing and aid concealment.

We designed the CAS/C5S holster to be a simple, one-piece unit that you can easily take on and off with little trouble. The minimalist design prevents discomfort by limiting bulk and unnecessary material, yet still offers a full sweatshield to protect your firearm. No fighting overly complex clip systems or bulky brackets. No threaded fasteners to work loose. No magazines floating around in pockets or an extra holster that you have to deal with. Our experience has shown us that if your holster is uncomfortable or needlessly complex, you won’t wear it.

The CAS/C5S is available for a wide variety of compact and subcompact firearms from most major firearms including 1911s, Glock, FNH, H&K, Sig, Smith and Wesson, Springfield, Ruger and Walther.

AEC Narrow Fabrics Awarded OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certification

    Wednesday, July 13th, 2016

Zürich (July 12, 2016)– The OEKO-TEX® Association is pleased to announce that AEC Narrow Fabrics (Asheboro Elastics Corporation) has been awarded the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, that ensures that AEC narrow fabrics have been tested to be free of harmful levels of more than 300 potentially harmful substances. AEC manufactures a broad assortment of knitted and woven narrow fabrics for apparel, home textiles, medical, automotive, marine, and commercial applications. The Asheboro, NC company has operations in the US and Central America with global distribution. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification was issued for products made at AEC’s facilities in El Salvador and Honduras, Central America.

“The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification is an important element of our overall quality assurance and product safety programs,” said Charles Adams, President of AEC Narrow Fabrics. “This voluntary certification is recognized and respected by our customers around the world, especially by those who are OEKO-TEX® certified themselves.”

By securing the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification for products made in its El Salvador and Honduras manufacturing facilities, AEC products made there can be used without concern in other OEKO-TEX® certified products. The modular nature of the OEKO-TEX® certification allows manufacturers to take credit for their suppliers’ certifications when applying for certification for their own products, therefore saving time and expense.

“Our customers appreciate us for our quality, service, and innovation,” commented Adams. “Now with OEKO-TEX® certification, we’re giving them another reassurance that our products are made with respect for the wellbeing of our associates, our customers’ associates, and the consumers who ultimately use the products that include our narrow fabrics.”

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 list of concerning chemicals includes residual pesticides, carcinogenic dyestuffs, phthalates, heavy metals, and formaldehyde. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is updated annually and reflects the latest advances in textile chemistry, up to date medical knowledge, and the current state of textile product safety regulations. Plus, adjustable settings allow you to capture one to three images per trigger, or 5- to 60-seconds of 1,280×720-pixel HD video. Also standard is Field Scan 2x time-lapse mode, which takes images at pre-set intervals from 1 to 60 minutes.

Plus, every Trophy Cam camera comes with a free one-month trial of DeerLab, a web-based subscription service that analyzes data from your photos and from weather services to help create a profile for each buck on your property, including how often, when, and under what weather and wind conditions a buck tends to be on his feet — and potentially walking under your stand.
