Garmont T8 Boots In Khaki – While Supplies Last from Extreme Outfitters

Available while supplies last is the Garmont Tactical series in Khaki. This color variation stems from the light colored split-grained leather with a darker DD diamesh and heel retention straps. Although these boots are NOT AR 670-1 compliant they still offer the same quality and comfort you know and love from the Garmont T8 series.

The Garmont Tactical T8 boot is unlike any other pair of boots you will ever wear. Starting from the ground up, the Bifida and Extreme versions are equipped with a Super Vibram sole for maximum traction and stability and maximum shock reduction in nearly all environments or surfaces. Next the T8 is constructed with a tapered nylon woven foot board, on top of that is a custom designed insole. The boot utilizes a foot bed cup system that makes the boot work with the rest of your body providing awesome stability reducing the amount of stress on the ankles and knees. The entry way is constructed with a swept back concept to allow a snug, comfortable, fully supported fit without all the unnecessary padding. The upper is constructed with abrasion resistant split grain leather combined with DD diamesh for excellent breathing and ventilation. Zero optical refraction hardware along with roller bearing and hook less rigging proof hardware makes the T8 operate flawlessly in all operating environments whether it be ground or airborne operations. The foot bed cup system combined with heel retention strapping system allows for maximum stability and support in nearly all conditions and environments.

The Garmont T8’s lightweight, rugged and durable construction allows these boots to perform amazingly in all conditions. The T8 performs well and dries out rapidly should you work in an amphibious environment or an extremely wet climate. Unity Tactical Announces the Promotion of Josh Greco to Sales Manager and the Departure of Nathan Stokes

Houma, LA- March 9, 2016 – UNITY Tactical, LLC announced that, effective today, Josh Greco has been promoted to the position of Sales Manager and that Nathan Stokes has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Josh Greco has been a part of the UNITY team for two years and has worked his way through all aspects of the company’s business from design and assembly to customer service and sales. In his new position as Sales Manager, he will be available as a single point of contact for UNITY’s diverse customer base. He can be reached at sales@unitytactical.com.

Defoor Proformance Expands to Meet Contract Demands

Defoor Proformance Shooting provides tactical solutions through training to U.S. military and government entities. Formed in 2010, DPS is a Veteran-Owned Small Business that delivers the most current tactical training and industry consulting available to government agencies, law enforcement officers and military units. DPS specializes in small arms combat marksmanship, modern sniper operations, low visibility operations, surveillance training and battlefield proven room clearing methods. Our instructors are decorated Special Mission Unit combat veterans and LE officers who have served hundreds of high risk warrants. Since 2010 we have trained an average of 1200 students a year serving multiple governments contracts with discretion.

Beginning second quarter 2016 DPS will be expanding our reach and ability to train tactics at multiple locations for both Law Enforcement and the Military while maintaining the high standards and great reputation DPS has developed over the years by the addition of three new employees;

UF PRO Reveals New Product Range At IWA 2016

Nuremberg, 05.03.2016. UF PRO revealed 7 new products at the annual IWA exhibition in Nuremberg. If you didn’t have the opportunity to visit their “jungle” booth in hall 9, here is some news straight from the UF PRO booth.

“Tough gear for rough weather.“ That’s the mantra for the new generation of Monsoon rain jackets, which were designed to offer extreme reliability and functionality during extreme weather conditions.

“Does 100g lighter gear compensate for less reliability and functionality? We don’t think so. That is why, during the design process of our new Monsoon jackets we focused on guaranteeing superb waterproof reliability, comfort and functionality, rather then saving grams and thus not including crucial functional elements, like the air/pac inserts or our Hood/Harness system“ said head of product development at UF PRO, Armin Wagner.

UF PRO is going to add 3 new jackets to their Monsoon rain gear; the more civilian styled Monsoon jacket, the heavy duty Monsoon XT jacket and the lightweight Monsoon Rain Shirt, which has been designed to be worn underneath a plate carrier.

“Our specialty has always been the designing of waterproof gear and with the new generation of Monsoon jackets, I really think that we are bringing a game changer to the waterproof garment market“ added Armin.

UF PRO also introduced their updated Striker XT combat pants and shirt, which should be available by the end of May. One of the biggest updates with the new generation of Striker XT pants is that the camouflage version is going to have the stretch panels also in camouflage. This was until now only the case with the Striker HT pants in MultiCam, where UF PRO combined the MultiCam NyCo fabric with the Schoeller-dynamic stretch material in SloCam.

A complete novelty to the UF PRO product range is the new addition to their Striker combat range- the new Stealth Smock.

“We wanted to design a smock, which would allow you to stow everything you need for a 24 -36 hour mission in it, without the need to carry an additional backpack or a chest rig. It was of course clear from the start that the problem isn’t going to be how to design a jacket with large pockets, but how to make sure the jacket stays comfortable to wear, even loaded with all that gear. That’s why we integrated a special air permeable load-bearing system into the jacket, which fixes the pockets onto your hip and thus helps to distribute the weight evenly.“ Armin reflected on the design process of the new Smock, which is going to be available in Flecktarn, MultiCam, PenCott GreenZone and RAL 7013 Brown-Grey.

UF PRO also introduced their new summer products, consisting out of the P-40 Shorts and the P-40 Shirt.

The shorts offer the known pocket configuration from the P-40 All-Terrain pants. The knee can be adjusted in length and can either cover the knee or stay above it.

The P-40 Shirt has integrated breathable mesh material in areas of high perspiration, air/pac inserts in the shoulder area and a high collar for extra sun protection and protection against abrasion in case of wearing a rifle sling.
