EOTECH Supplies Electro-Optics to the US Army

Plymouth, MI (July 2026) – EOTECH, a division of American Holoptics and leader in advanced electro-optic sighting systems, today announced the recent sale of its OGL® (On-Gun Laser) systems, HWS® (Holographic Weapon Sights), and compatible magnifiers to the U.S. Army, totaling 14,000 units. The procurement was executed through multiple Transformation in Contact (TiC) buys to directly support the PAE Maneuver Ground portfolio’s surrogate optics project for M7, XM8 Carbine, and M250 Automatic Rifle.

This delivery provides critical day/night aiming, illumination, and engagement capabilities to Soldiers participating in the surrogate optics evaluation. The EOTECH systems include the rugged, combat-proven OGL for visible and infrared laser performance, industry-leading holographic sights for rapid target acquisition, and high-performance magnifiers—enabling enhanced lethality, improved positive identification, situational awareness, and operational flexibility in diverse and austere environments.

RoGO Communications Showcases New DropBlock and Mobile App at APCO 2026 Annual Conference

GPS Location for Wildland Firefighters and First RespondersSAN ANTONIO (Aug. 3, 2026) – RoGO Communications, a company founded to develop lifesaving technology for firefighters and first responders, is showcasing the DropBlock 2.0 with a new mobile phone app to track the location of firefighters and equipment in locations where cellular service is not available.

RoGO is exhibiting in booth 618 at the APCO Annual Conference Aug. 2-5 in San Antonio, Texas. The Association for Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) is the world’s oldest and largest organization of public safety communications professionals who manage, operate, build and support public safety communications systems for law enforcement, fire, emergency medical and other public safety agencies.

RoGO Communications Chief Executive Officer Rod Goossen, along with his brother Derek, who served on teams fighting more than 100 wildfires, founded the company to develop technology that will save lives of wildland firefighters following the tragic deaths of 19 firefighters in the 2013 Yarnell Hill fire in Arizona. The launch of the DropBlock 2.0 and new mobile phone app on June 30 was the 13th anniversary of the memorial to honor the fallen firefighters and their families.

The satellite-enabled DropBlocks are now smaller in size and weight to be carried by wildland firefighters. The new RoGO mobile phone app enables point-to-point communications and displays the GPS location of firefighting assets along with fire weather data on mobile phones in austere, remote or cellular-denied areas when paired to a DropBlock.

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management field tested DropBlocks with six wildland fire handcrews, suggesting the smaller size and adding point-to-point data communications to send messages to targeted teams.

Immediate tactical coordination and lifesaving situational awareness is enabled by tracking the location of crews, equipment and resources including bulldozers, water tenders, fire engines, high-value structures, medical evacuation rescue sites and makeshift water resources. DropBlocks also share hyper-local weather information and serve as portable weather stations, including wind speed, direction, temperature, humidity and other IoT sensor data.

Initially engineered to save lives of wildland firefighters to avoid being trapped by the spread of the fire, DropBlocks also support first responders in other all hazards emergencies including disaster responses for hurricanes, earthquakes and floods.

The new DropBlock 2.0 and mobile phone are being field tested now with a commercial launch nationwide anticipated in Q4 2026. Field testing began in Red, White & Blue Fire Protection District in Breckenridge, Colo., where RoGO’s Chief Strategy Officer Derek Goossen serves as a training and safety captain.

“Having accurate and timely accountability for our people and equipment on a large incident is important. Wildfire incidents often occur where we don’t have good radio and/or cellular coverage, so communication becomes challenging to say the least,” said Mathew Benedict, the Division Chief of Wildfire and Community Preparedness for Red, White and Blue Fire Protection District. “The DropBlock gives us a simple way to track our resources and provides communications where we may not have any. It can also provide and transmit critical weather intel back to the incident command post which is great.”

BC Customs Selected for US Army ISV-H Prototype Agreement

Honeyville Utah – July 30th 2026 – BC Customs (BCC) in association with Raglan, has been selected for the U.S. Army Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) [W912CH-26-9-A061] to build prototypes for the Infantry Squad Vehicle-Heavy (ISV-H). The program has an approved Army Acquisition Objective of 606 platforms and is intended to provide critical operational capabilities, including exportable power to support tactical operations and onboard power to enable mission command while maneuvering.

Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal selected the BCC-Raglan team as one of the participants in the competitive, multi-phase Commercial Solutions Opening [W912CH-26-S-C005]. Under the solicitation, the Government anticipated the award of up to three OTA agreements and/or FAR-based contracts. As part of the agreement, BCC will manufacture and deliver three (3) ISV-H vehicles’ utilizing Raglan electronic control and export power systems for Government evaluation as the competition advances toward a potential follow-on production award.

The Office of Strategic Capital Signs $820 Million Conditional Loan Commitment with Performance Drone Works to Expand Domestic Drone Component Manufacturing

The United States Department of War’s Office of Strategic Capital announced today a conditional loan commitment of up to $820 million to Performance Drone Works to establish high-volume domestic manufacturing capacity for critical drone components.

Together, the OSC financing and additional private capital committed alongside it will support a new high-volume source of domestically manufactured components for use across the broader U.S. drone industrial base. The project is intended to supply components to multiple manufacturers and platforms, representing a significant expansion of domestic production capacity for drone components. These components are intended to support a range of Group 1 and Group 2 unmanned aircraft produced by PDW and other domestic manufacturers. With this strategic financing, OSC will enable the development of production capacity to address critical component bottlenecks facing the broader U.S. unmanned-systems ecosystem.

“PDW will be one of several domestic component producers receiving OSC loan commitments in support of President Trump’s Executive Order 14307, ‘Unleashing American Drone Dominance.’ Expanding domestic component production will benefit manufacturers throughout the ecosystem and improve supply-chain resilience,” said David A. Lorch, Director of the Office of Strategic Capital and Senior Advisor to Deputy Secretary of War Steve Feinberg.

James R. Shanahan, Senior Managing Director at OSC, added, “We are squarely focused on identifying and addressing bottlenecks in critical supply chains, including drones and autonomous systems. OSC’s transaction with PDW, along with private capital crowded in alongside it, will support the construction of significant new manufacturing capacity to address vulnerabilities across the drone supply chain.”

The conditional loan commitment between OSC and PDW specifies customary additional steps the company must take to proceed toward financial close, including satisfying financial, legal, technical, and other due diligence requirements.

“Achieving Secretary Hegseth’s mandate for drone dominance requires a secure and resilient industrial base here at home. The Office of Strategic Capital is strengthening the domestic supply chain for critical drone components to ensure American manufacturers can deliver the lethal capabilities that our warfighters need,” said Emil Michael, Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering.

Red Cat Receives $2.49 Million US Air Force Order for Black Widow Systems

AWARD SUPPORTS TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF BLACK WIDOW AS A POTENTIAL SUCCESSOR TO THE AIR FORCE SECURITY FORCES’ CURRENT TEAL 2 FLEETSALT LAKE CITY, July 30, 2026 — Red Cat Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: RCAT) (“Red Cat” or the “Company”), a U.S.-based provider of advanced all-domain drone and robotic solutions for defense and national security, today announced that its Teal Drones subsidiary has received a $2.49 million firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Air Force for Black Widow™ small unmanned aircraft systems, training and related support.

The award includes Black Widow systems, train-the-trainer support, batteries, spares and shipping. According to the contract, the equipment will be used to conduct a technical and operational assessment of Black Widow as a potential successor to the Air Force Security Forces’ current Teal 2 fleet.

The customer organization is the U.S. Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC), which trains, equips, and managed program execution for the Air Force Security Forces enterprise worldwide. This encompasses active-duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve Defenders. This technical and operational assessment positions Black Widow as a potential successor across the total AFSFC’s Teal 2 fleet, building on Red Cat’s momentum as the U.S. Army’s selected Short Range Reconnaissance platform.
