Century Arms Announces New Lifetime Warranty for VSKA AK Rifle

DELRAY BEACH, Florida – (FEBRUARY 15, 2019) – Century Arms, North America’s premier AK manufacturer, is proud to announce their new heavy duty AK rifle, the VSKA, is now backed with a Lifetime Warranty.

Announced in October 2018, the 2019 VSKA (vis-kuh) from Century Arms represents the latest in an American-built AK rifle. Critical components are machined from S7 tool steel, including the bolt carrier, front trunnion and feed ramp, all heat-treated for maximum durability. S7, often referred to as a “Shock-Resisting Tool Steel,” is commonly used for tools like chisels and jackhammer tips as it has maximum shock resistance and high compression strength, while retaining toughness. The front trunnion and bolt are machined from billet and exceeded the durability goals for the project. Additionally, the VSKA features a nitro-carburized 4140 steel bolt, a chrome-moly 4150 barrel, and sports the RAK-1 Enhanced Trigger Group for an impressive trigger pull. Along with a magnesium-phosphate finish, Century adds a little style to the heavy-duty brute with an American Maple wood buttstock and forend.

Each VSKA ships with one 30-round standard-capacity magazine and has an MSRP of $735.95.

New partnership brings industry leaders together to elevate protection for dangerous surveillance scenarios

(Phoenix, AZ – (DATE) The Armored Group, LLC (TAG), a leading worldwide provider of armored vehicles, and TerraHawk LLC, the developer of rapid mobile surveillance tower systems, have joined forces. TerraHawk will be rebranded as TerraHawk built by TAG Specialty Vehicles. The company will offer SWAT teams, border patrol teams, private security teams and others in high-risk situations armored and unarmored vehicles outfitted with protective elevated surveillance towers. These towers provide viewing from high vantage points giving responders better sight lines which may be critical to positive resolutions.

The TerraHawk mobile surveillance tower enables a single law enforcement officer to operate the observation capsule which may be raised up to 25-feet and offering 360 visibility, enabling law enforcement to observe a situation that would otherwise be blocked from sight. IDEX 2019 takes place from 17 to 21 February in Abu Dhabi. True to the motto “Force Protection is our Mission”, Rheinmetall will be on hand with a representative selection of products from its extensive portfolio.

Jankel achieves ‘production ready’ status from its Middle Eastern production facility of their latest generation HUNTER Tactical Intervention Vehicle (TIV)

World-class specialist in design and production of high-specification armoured vehicles and survivability systems, Jankel, has announced the achievement of ‘production ready’ status for their latest generation HUNTER Tactical Intervention Vehicle (TIV) in preparation for the imminent manufacture of another major order from an undisclosed customer in the Asia Pacific region. The vehicles will be built at JLVM, Jankel’s Jordanian facility, a Joint Venture with KADDB. This announcement coincides with IDEX 2019 taking place 17-21 February at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), where Jankel is exhibiting on stand number 05-C09.

Jankel’s focus for IDEX will be further sales of their Counter Terror and Special Forces vehicles to complement their numerous vehicle fleets already in service in the Middle East. Jankel will also be promoting their survivability systems, including their range of BLASTech mitigation seats.

This latest order for the HUNTER TIV has been re-engineered to have increased internal and stowage capacity. The vehicle has also received automotive improvements to meet the exact specifications demanded by the customer, delivering versatility, maneuverability and protection for Internal Security missions.

Jankel has enjoyed considerable success in the Middle and Far Eastern regions in recent years. The establishment of the JLVM Joint Venture in Jordan has enabled regional manufacture of vehicles to meet the demanding environmental and capability requirements of this wider geographical area. To date, Jankel has over 350 vehicles in service across 11 countries in the Middle East and neighbouring regions, as well as an established and comprehensive support services network that expands across 14 different regional sites, ensuring the customer can always maximise the capability on offer.
