Reptilia Receives NATO Stock Numbers for All Products in Catalog

NSN’s are used by U.S. military services, Department of Defense (DoD), disposition services, federal agencies (such as GSA, FAA, DHS, etc.), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and many various governments around the world. When added to a product label, the NSN indicates a review and approval for use within the military’s logistics supply chain.

Century Arms Files Lawsuit Against XTech Tactical

Delray Beach, Fla. –– In response to numerous consumer inquiries, Century Arms, North America’s premier AK manufacturer, confirms it has filed a lawsuit in West Palm Beach, Florida, asking the federal court to stop Arizona-based XTech Tactical from selling AK-47 magazines that are confusingly similar to the well-known US Palm magazine configuration. Century Arms recently acquired US Palm and is continuing the US Palm brand, including its iconic AK-47 magazine.

Century Arms alleges that consumers recognize the “waffle and tread pattern” on the US Palm magazine as a trademark indicating the magazine is a genuine US Palm product. XTech Tactical recently began selling an AK-47 magazine having a strikingly similar waffle and tread pattern that, according to the complaint, will confuse customers into thinking they are buying the US Palm magazine. US Palm has established a favorable position among consumers for AK-47 magazines and welcomes fair competition in the marketplace. By mimicking the appearance of the US Palm magazine, Century Arms alleges XTech Tactical has sought to bypass fair practices and intentionally mislead consumers.

Century Arms is asking the federal court to enjoin XTech Tactical from selling the accused AK-47 magazine, and to award damages, attorney fees and costs to Century Arms. Should XTech offer additional products that may cause confusion with US Palm products, Century Arms will vigorously enforce its rights in order to put a halt to XTech illegal activities.

Rob Pincus Joins Board Of Second Amendment Organization

CHICAGO – Second Amendment Organization is pleased to announce that Rob Pincus has joined our Board of Directors and has accepted the role of Executive Vice President.

Rob brings over twenty years of experience in the Gun Industry and a lifetime as a shooter. Rob is one of the industry’s most vocal leaders. He is both an advocate and an educator. His work with United States Concealed Carry Association, National Rifle Association, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Second Amendment Foundation, Personal Defense Network, I.C.E. Training Company and countless other Pro-Gun-Rights Organizations has influenced millions of American Gun Owners. He has frequently spoken on behalf of responsible gun owners in national and international media. His views are sometimes controversial and often confrontational as he has combated ignorance and negligence around firearms and firearms rights. He understands the need for an assertive, inclusive and rational gun rights organization.

The Second Amendment Organization was founded on a response to the cultural shift that occurred in the US after the vicious killings at Sandy Hook. After that tragedy, an unprecedented number of large corporations, international companies and local business began declaring themselves and their locations as Anti-Gun or “Gun Free Zones”. A few people stood up in opposition to that movement and declared their businesses as Gun Friendly… one of those business was mine. In the wake of that decision, I received a great deal of media attention and was soon joined by other businesses around the county. I saw an opportunity to motivate and celebrate the message of Support for the Second Amendment from businesses outside of the gun industry in a way that had never been done before. I was joined by a few like-minded individuals and started 2AO as a non-profit. Within a few years, we established chapters in over 20 states and had well over 250,000 Businesses Committed to our cause.

Under Rob’s leadership, 2AO plans to expand our efforts and activities. Our Mission is now three fold:
1. To promote a Pro-Second Amendment Attitude in businesses across the United States.
2. To support and educate Grassroots Second Amendment Advocates around the country dealing with issues at the State and Local Levels.
3. To combat Gun Negligence in all forms inside of the community of American Gun Owners.

SilencerCo Releases Quietest .22 Suppressor to Hit the Market

The Switchback 22 allows users to choose between three lengths, with the long configuration optimized for either a pistol or rifle host. As the most versatile rimfire silencer ever developed, the Switchback 22 is the first to use rocket propulsion principles. This approach to engineering results in non-intuitive baffle reversal and reduces the sound report on a .22LR rifle to an unheard-of 108 dB (with subsonic ammunition).

“Gas flow can be sped up or slowed down by tapering a bore wider or tighter,” said Jake Turnblom, SilencerCo engineer. “Cones act as a nozzle (to speed up) or a diffuser (to slow down) gases in propulsion.The effect a cone has completely flips when transitioning to or from supersonic or subsonic velocities. Using cones (by flipping them) as supersonic diffusers is what led to the discovery of improved suppression on rifles.”

Finished in raw titanium with black nitride end caps and coupler, the Switchback 22 has a MSRP of $499 and can be configured into three sizes. On a rifle, the suppressor is hearing-safe in the shortest configuration of 2.5 inches with a weight of only 3.2 oz. The medium configuration is 3.59 inches and 4.3 oz, while the long is 5.75 inches and 6.5 oz.
