Available in two lengths, they’ve tailored the sparking material mix to double the break strength of a typical ferrocerrium/firesteel mix. You can use any of the tools on the knife to strike a spark with the Firefly.
I saw EXOTAC’s titanLIGHT at the recent Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City. It is a refillable, waterproof lighter and features a replaceable flint and wick. Made from aircraft grade aluminum, it features O-ring seals for longer intervals between lighter fluid refills.
This is the new Fieldcraft Poncho from Kelty. This multi-function item is Berry Compliant and can be used as a Poncho, Shelter, Litter, and Hammock. Naturally, users are going to come up with other uses as well.
Constructed from a coated 70D nylon and offered in the MultiCam print, it is reinforced with webbing at the corners, with paracord in pockets for some uses.

The Hideaway from Uncharted Supply Co is a ripstop nylon windbreaker with a twist. It incorporates panels throughout the Jacket which are designed to accept dry insulation such as newspapers, leaves, etc.
People have been doing this very thing for years, but I’ve never seen anyone build a jacket designed specifically to accept natural insulation. It’s a simple idea, but I’d say that the Yellow color would be best kept for survival situations.

Rogue Dynamics has introduced the Rogue Stash Tag, a keytag design with hidden compartment they shared with their friends at GRYlife.
Its Velcro shell allows the user to attach morale patches or other identifiers. It also sports a hidden compartment to store a wide variety of items. While the guys have carried all kinds of cool guy stuff in there, I like the idea of a backup $100 bill.
