The French 27e bataillon de chasseurs alpins (27e BCA) or 27th Mountain Infantry Battalion recently conducted high altitude mountaineering training in Chamonix. This unit has seen extensive action in Afghanistan. Take a few minutes to check out their equipment. The Overwhites are an Arktis design.
The initial batch of custom camouflage Deceptex uniforms is ready for shipment. Manufactured by the Canadian company TacWear, these uniforms use a light weight (6.50 oz./yd2) 70/30 Polyester/Cotton Twill with 15%-18% woven-in stretch and are laid out similar to the new Enhanced Combat Uniform cut being adopted for Canadian Forces.

ANNOUNCEMENT – REDBACK ONE EMBLEM REVAMP!
I’m very excited to give you a first look at the new version of our emblem! The original Redback One emblem which is the diamond/ spider has been revamped by our graphic designer Steve St-Louis of Webtechgear. We’ve been wanting to make this change for a while and we couldn’t be happier, this is definitely more along the lines of our style! We plan to start transitioning from our old emblem to the new one soon, this will also be incorporated into our main logo.
