A lot of companies are making armor carriers with Kangaroo pockets. S & S Precision has developed a molded Kydex magazine insert that provides positive retention of your mags. Optimized for use with the LBT-6094A Plate Carrier.
TAG showed us their new, improved Rampage armor carrier. The improvement is a new kangaroo pouch at the front flap that will allow some modularity. It is lined with Velcro and can receive a variety of inserts.
One insert not only features elastic mag pockets but can also receive detachable shotgun shell holders.

The one thing we didn’t write about yesterday was the excellent range support provided by Special Tactical Services at the NBOW Range Day. They pulled a trailer up, armed with an M240, M249 and PKM on weapons mounts.
Additionally, they brought a wide variety of small arms to the shoot including the Barrett M82, FN SCAR 16 and a wide variety of Soviet small arms. They also brought lots of ammo. Overall, the mood of the attendees was excellent and fun was had by all.
At today’s event STS displayed their Force Protection Trailer. Equipped with a variety of mounts and weapon shields including transparent armor solutions.
Here, you can see the business end of their weapon shields as well as an RPG shield mounted on the corner. STS manufactures all of their shields from AR500 steel. Additionally, they build all of the weapon mounts.
Finally, STS provides numerous weapon operator and maintenance courses.

Team Wendy is well known for their ZAP helmet pads but they have applied their expertise with synthetic compounds to develop training armor plates. Made from a tough Polyurethane, unlike issue ESAPI plates, they won’t crack or break when dropped and mimic the size and weight of the issue item. Both chest and side plate shapes are available.
