I asked the folks at LBT Inc about this vest and they wouldn’t tell me much except that it was designed at the request of a customer and it was intended for maritime use. They also said that it would accept foam inserts.
Looks like LBT is teaming up with 2VetsArms again, this time to raffle a one-off SHOT Show serialized LBTINC rifle for the AllInAllTheTimeFoundation, one of our favorite charities. For the last two years, we’ve attended LBT’s huge giveaways at the end of day two at SHOT Show. These things just keep getting bigger and bigger.
Visit LBT Booth 31307 in the Tactical ballrooms on the second floor for more info on how to register.
LBT has produced the Project Zero Vest we told you about during the ADS Federal Range Day, in White.
As you can see, the White color doesn’t contrast under civilian clothing.
Panels can quickly be attached to the front of the carrier via Velcro.
Although it isn’t your run of the mill LE item, we had a chance to check the LBT Jungle Pack out at the ADS Inc federal range day.
It offers 2500 Cu In of internal storage with an internal frame (CASS) and removable lid (200 cu in) with mesh topped pocket. They’ve built a couple of different variants of the Jungie Pack that they’ve been supplying to operational forces which vary based on materials used and frame type. For instance, there are some ALICE frame models running around. This one, with the CASS frame (developed initially for body armor) weighs in right at 4 lbs.
This model is made from 330D Cordura and has a LiteLok expandable collar. All of the pack bags feature a flat, full length zipped compartment along the back of the bag but other than that, they are slick on the outside to make it easier to maneuver through thick brush.
The project Zero Vest is a new design from LBT Inc that is great for undercover work.
Specifically, it was designed for zero visibility when layered under civilian clothing. It’s made from a combination of Nylon 330D MAS Grey / 4way stretch / lycra which all combine to allow for the fitting of different plates. Additionally, as you can see, it offers the use of detachable Velcro options for comms, mags, and hard plates, all removable and customizable for unique end user load out.
Developed in conjunction with Chris Costa, the Armatus armor carrier has a new variant. Based on end user feedback, they’ve introduced a fully modular MAP system carrier.
In addition to removable panels up front there are also now removable rear panels.
It incorporates Hypalon shoulder straps with removable padding, a breathable mesh cummerbund and a streamlined front design that covers the attachment clips for the MAP.
Although it comes configured with a PALS panel they are also looking at introducing a pouch panel and a backpack panel.
