It all started in 1997 when Igors Sitvjenkins joined the Army. He started with designing an innovative layering system for his fellow soldiers. After 15 years as an officer, having worked with NATO groups and cooperated with top military brands from soldier systems sector, he decided to start his own business and look into the design in a more scientific way.

The mix of scientific thinking, military experience and passion resulted in a book called BOOS – “Book of operational sculpturing”, where Igors team established system requirements for all the products they developed. The book became the base for identification and understanding of customer requirements – a unique and innovative approach towards satisfying the customer with most adequate product choices. BOOS also includes details behind the creation of the new multiterrain camouflage pattern called TripleX and has become the base for all products designed and sold by Igors and his partners’ new brand, 3rd Alternative www.3rda.eu.

Also on display at the TNVC booth #6502 are the Safran/Optics1 AN/PAS-29A COTI thermal monoculars. Available for the civilian market, the Clip-on Thermal Imager (COTI) is a MIL-SPEC Fusion system that enhances situational awareness and increases warfighter effectiveness at night. The COTI’s thermal image helps warfighters find threats and targets of interest and gives them a detection capability not found with standalone NVD’s. The NV/thermal fusion allows the user to detect thermal signatures of hidden or camouflaged enemies or animals and through smoke, fog, or other obscuration, as well as in lighting conditions where traditional image intensification alone may struggle. The COTI can be set to Outline, Patrol, or Full Thermal mode and be used with standard IR lasers. It has a built-in compass for navigation and orientation and can be quickly attached and detached from any PVS-14 style, PVS-15, or BNVD (PVS-31)-style system without the use of tools.

TNVC will also feature the new lineup of the Mirkwood RNVG and PVS-14 with Photonis Echo Hybrid Photocathode Gen. 2+ image intensifier tubes – for outdoor enthusiasts from Night Goggles at booth #6502. The PVS-14 has been the trusted work horse and standard-issue night vision optic serving US forces for many years and is a popular choice for Law Enforcement Professionals. PVS-14’s can be mounted on helmets for hands-free use, behind weapon optics, or simply as a handheld device. Brand New Agilite Gen4 Version Helmet Cover

Agilite have released a new version of their Gen4 Helmet Cover for Ops Core Fast XP and FAST ST Models.

The Gen4 was previously only available for Ops Core Super High cut helmets like the FAST SF and Maritime but now they’ve released it for Ops Core’s classic and most common helmet cut as well. The cover gives the helmet advanced accessory management as well as protection that increases the helmet’s service life.

It can be bought directly from the Agilite website, through GSA or the Tailored Logistics Support program (TLS) program and comes in both a Berry Compliant and Made in Israel version.

Fix It Sticks Unveiling Two New Modular Tool Kits and other accessories at the 2020 SHOT Show

Chicago, IL- Fix It Sticks, the industry innovator of modular firearms maintenance tools and torque limiters is unveiling two new comprehensive tool kits at the 2020 SHOT show. Known for creative and continual product development, Fix It Sticks has many other exciting tools and accessories available for review that were not seen at last year’s show. Recently introduced and now available is the new All-In-One Torque Driver. This has quickly become an integral part of the Fix It Sticks product line. It provides six torque values most often used by expert and professional shooters in one compact driver. A precise, graduated torque scale is laser etched on the side to indicate the torque value as it is applied. The settings marked on the side are 15in/lb, 25in/lb, 35in/lb, 45in/lb, 55in/lb and 65in/lb. The All-In-One can also be used to apply torque in between the specified settings by watching the in/lb indicator as torque is being applied. This new torque driver is now available in many of the Fix It Sticks tool kits.

Also available is the Fix It Stick Modular Cleaning Rod. Perfect for use in the field to maintain a rifle or clear an obstruction, this cleaning rod works with the Fix It Sticks system and is available in select kits.

Instagram user @alex_anrdesignllc posted a photo of the new Holosun 507K. With its SIG RomeoZERO footprint, it fits the P365XL. He says he already has roughly 1k rounds with the optic and likes the circle dot on the small window. It features a side battery compartment and aluminum housing.
