Precision-engineered for military and law enforcement operations, avid sportsmen, and competition shooters; the CSR 308 delivers unwavering accuracy at extended ranges.

Nampa, Idaho (February 2025) – Caracal USA, a leading US-based manufacturer of small arms for the law enforcement and defense markets, proudly introduces the CSR 308 Bolt Action Precision Rifle chambered in .308 Winchester. Precision-engineered for military and law enforcement, as well as avid sportsmen and competition shooters alike, the CSR 308 delivers unwavering accuracy at extended range and over extended round counts.

Built to exceed NATO and U.S. testing protocols for light arms and shoulder-fired weapon systems, the CSR 308 is engineered with a lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum chassis, ensuring durability and maneuverability. The enlarged trigger guard and familiar ergonomics make it accessible to modern rifle shooters. The machined 7075-T6 forend, key-locked to the receiver, provides secure alignment and incorporates a KeyMod accessory mounting system and a 1913 Picatinny rail, offering seamless customization for various mission and sporting requirements.

The CSR 308’s patented folding and fully adjustable buttstock enhances versatility, allowing all adjustments to be made with the support hand while in the firing position—no knobs, screws, or tools required. The stock features an integrated monopod and bag slider for additional stability. Additionally, the rifle boasts a proprietary, fully adjustable two-stage trigger system, allowing for modifications to the first-stage length, trigger shoe position, and second-stage weight—all without disassembly. The CSR 308 is designed to accept standard SR-25 (AR-10) magazines, ensuring reliable compatibility.

At the heart of the rifle is a proprietary bolt design with three locking lugs, a 60-degree rotation, dual ejectors, and a tool-steel extractor, housed in a tool-less bolt body for simplified maintenance. The precision-machined 4340 steel receiver features a 1913 Picatinny rail, vertically oriented bolt stop, and an integrated 32CrMoV feeding ring, while the ambidextrous magazine release and safety selector offer an intuitive user experience for both right- and left-handed shooters.

“The CSR 308 is a true testament to Caracal USA’s commitment to precision and performance. We built this rifle to exceed the demands of military and law enforcement professionals, while also offering civilian shooters the accuracy and reliability they expect in a high-performance bolt gun,” said Jeffrey Spalding, President and CEO of Caracal USA. “Whether you’re on the range, in the field, or deployed in a tactical environment, the CSR 308 delivers unmatched consistency and durability.”

Friday, January 31st, 2025

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Jan. 23, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Red Cat Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: RCAT) (“Red Cat” or the “Company”), a drone technology company integrating robotic hardware and software for military, government, and commercial operations, today announced it has secured new orders for its Edge 130 drone from the Army National Guard and another U.S. Government Agency (OGA), totaling $518,000.

FlightWave, a leading provider of VTOL drone, sensor and software solutions was acquired by Red Cat in September 2024. The acquisition brought FlightWave’s flagship drone, the Edge 130 Blue into its family of low-cost, portable unmanned reconnaissance and precision lethal strike systems. FlightWave’s size, weight and vertical take off capabilities makes it ideal for maritime operations and littoral environments.

The combined orders, which amount to 12 Edge 130 drones, reflect Red Cat’s continued momentum in providing advanced drone technology solutions to key defense and security customers. The Edge 130 is known for its robust capabilities, including long-endurance flight times, AI-driven surveillance features, and operational effectiveness in a variety of mission-critical environments.

“These new orders further validate the performance and unique capabilities of the Edge 130 as part of our Family of Systems and reinforce our position as a trusted provider of drone solutions for government and military applications,” said Jeff Thompson, Red Cat CEO. “We are expanding our manufacturing capacity for the Edge 130 to accelerate this momentum and remain committed to supporting U.S. government agencies with the industry’s best technology that enhances their mission capabilities and success.”

The Edge 130 Blue is a UAS-certified military-grade tricopter for long-range mapping, inspection, surveillance, and reconnaissance needs. Designed specifically for government and military applications, the Edge 130 Blue can be assembled and hand-launched in just one minute by a single user to capture high-accuracy aerial imagery with medium-range autonomy. Weighing in at only 1200g, the Edge has a 60+ minute flight time in forward mode, an industry-leading endurance among all other Blue UAS-approved drones available.

SPACECENT Breaks Ground on Space Campus Project in CENTCOM AOR

Friday, January 31st, 2025

AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar (AFNS) —

In a significant milestone for the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Forces – Central officially broke ground on the Space Campus at Al Udeid Air Base, Jan. 14. The ceremony, attended by key personnel and stakeholders, marked the beginning of a new era in space capabilities for the region.

The Space Campus is a major initiative aimed at enhancing the base’s space operations and capabilities in the area. The project is designed to provide a state-of-the-art facility for personnel to work together and advance the mission, supporting the growing demands of space-related activities.

Col. Frank Brooks, Space Forces Central deputy commander, delivered remarks during the ceremony, highlighting the importance of the Space Campus and its role in advancing the base’s space operations.

“[The Campus] represents the ever-growing partnership between the United States and Qatar, a bond forged in trust and strengthened year by year since the 1990s,” Brooks said. “Al Udeid Air Base has been more than just a military installation; it has been a foundation for collaboration and mutual respect.”

The Space Campus is the first project to break ground on the Space Campus site, and its completion is expected to have a significant impact on the base’s ability to support space-related missions.

“This complex will soon become a beacon for the vital space systems and operations that underpin U.S. CENTCOM’s mission of promoting stability, security, and partnership across the region,” Brooks said. “It will stand as a testament to our shared vision for a safer, more secure world.”

The U.S. Space Force continues to play a critical role in regional and global operations. Committed forces maintain 24/7 operations to ensure the safety and sustainability of space and protect our way of life. In addition to protecting the joint and combined forces from space-enabled attacks, Guardians are uniquely trained in warfighting activities in, from and to the space domain. Their mission protects and enables precision navigation and timing systems like GPS, missile warning and satellite communications, as well as helping the general public to find their destinations, track online purchases and get money from an ATM.

The completion of the Al Udeid Space Campus is a major milestone in the development of space capabilities, and its impact will be felt across the region and beyond.
