As part of our growth, TNVC has established a formal Federal Programs Division and continuing to restructure our sales force and task organization to become an even more agile, responsive, and adaptable provider of critical visual augmentation systems and headborne systems and sensor / sensor support systems and capabilities to government and private customers alike, providing cradle-to-grave lifecycle support and focused, specialized subject matter expertise from decades of experience both as end-users and sales / procurement / distribution / acquisition programs in the federal and state and local government as well as commercial retail and wholesale sectors, and tied together by comprehensive education and support.

Effective immediately, Chris Huber and Wendy Sanderson will be promoted to Vice Presidents of Dealer / LE Sales and Federal Programs, respectively. Within these roles, both Chris and Wendy will take an even larger role in developing, managing, and overseeing TNVC’s business development strategy and long-term planning as well as robust program support across all channels, commercial, state & local, and federal government.

“These new changes and additions to the staff are designed to allow TNVC to continue to scale as a business, building on the last 20 years of success and experience within the night vision industry, supporting our customers in all sectors as well as deepening and continuing our relationships with technology developers—both established ones and new innovators, and program offices to match up requirements with capabilities and products and continue to bring the best possible VAS products and capabilities to our customers,” remarked Augustine Kim, TNVC COO. “These new VP positions are not just simple ‘sales’ positions, as both Chris and Wendy will be taking an active role in helping to ‘steer the ship’ and influencing not only what TNVC will look like moving into the future, but the whole Visual Augmentation Systems and capabilities space for years to come. We look forward to seeing what the future brings in a rapidly changing world, economy, technology outlook, and marketplace, and I could not ask for a better team to tackle the next 20 years and beyond with.”

Also joining TNVC as a new addition to the team is Ephraim Rogers, as Marketing, Education, and Communications Operations Manager (MECOM) who will coordinate and develop TNVC’s education, marketing, and communications strategy. “Once again, Ephraim’s not just going to be a ‘marketing guy,’” Kim explained. “TNVC’s communications strategy has always been incredibly complex, combining not just traditional marketing as in social media, product launches, et cetera; but also encompassing education and training programs and communications, including our coordination with manufacturers and partners to develop, provide feedback, and conduct testing and evaluation on new and emerging products that are in development.”

Please join us in congratulating Wendy, Chris, and welcoming Ephraim to the TNVC Team!

Strike Industries Strike A2 Blast Shield

Tuesday, April 1st, 2025

Las Vegas, Nevada — Strike Industries has released a new Concussion Reduction Device, the Strike A2 Blast Shield, which directly attaches onto any A2 Flash Hider muzzle device (chambered for either 5.56mm or 9mm).

Similar to the Original Oppressor, the A2 Blast Shield is installed via rotating the device to tighten onto its internal detents after slipping it over an A2 muzzle device.

Its purpose is to redirect and reduce concussive blasts from live fire. The A2 Blast Shield also has six ports to help retain the birdcage’s natural flash suppression and compensating qualities. With its unique fork locking design, this Blast Shield includes a safety mechanism that allows for the fork to stay locked and secured even if the device has not been fully tensioned.

The A2 Blast Shield was inspired by Strike’s development of its Oppressors as this product was designed to solve a looming problem of aging military, government, and law enforcement agencies’ armories: With many AR-15 and M4-style rifles getting older, many of these entities have been forced to retire their old inventories to update with newer platforms which can be costly.

As a more cost effective solution, the Strike A2 Blast Shield is retailing for only $99.95 MSRP.

Opting for this quick upgrade is an easy decision to reduce and redirect concussive blasts not only making for a better shooting experience but it can also improve communication on the ground between officers or soldiers when in a live fire environment.

Being able to retain more situational awareness when training or engaging threats would be a boon to those in the line of duty. Civilian gun owners can also benefit from this enhanced shooting experience on the firing line both indoors and out.

For interested law enforcement agencies, please reach out to us for T&E requests or for bulk purchasing for your department via sales@strikeindustries.com. For media requests, please reach out to mkt@strikeindustries.com.

9/11 Remembered – The Toll

Wednesday, September 11th, 2024

On this 23rd commemoration of that fateful day which saw so many of us fling to corners of the earth to track down those behind this heinous act and bring them to justice, I want to remember the feeling of that day as it transpired. A feeling of helplessness. I want to remember it because I don’t ever want to have the feeling again.

There were 2996 immediate deaths on September 11th, 2001. I will never forget the people who cheered that day, celebrating an attack on America and the deaths of so many innocents. I woke up this morning and checked my usual news sites. Almost nothing about the events of 9/11/01. It took 23 years for America to forget its dead and abandon a unified purpose.

Regardless of which way the political winds blow, I remain a patriot. But in a greater sense, I will also always honor those from other nations who stood with us on that day and throughout the ensuing decades of conflict. After all, there were victims from 90 countries on 9/11. A sick ideology attacked the world and despite our efforts, it lives on, dug in like a tick.

The crisis remains. Every year we lose more and more amazing people to issues caused by those events. Victims and rescuers alike suffer life threatening medical conditions due to the exposure to toxins during the attacks and continue to succumb to these lingering wounds. As a country, we must stand by them.

Even now, the world is faced with the continued threat of Islamic fundamentalism that targets our ideals in both word and deed. We must oppose them in every case, lest our efforts thus far, be in vain.

The toll…it weighs on.

Never Forgive, Never Forget
