Til Valhall Warrior Gear – Flannel Combat Shirt

From Germany comes the Til Valhall Warrior Gear Flanel Combat Shirt. It is made of 100% Cotton double brushed flannel material for a soft and comfortable fit. The torso is contoured and consists of 95% cotton and 5% elastane for a good fit and freedom of movement. There are no zippers, buttons or other hard materials for wearing under protective vests in the torso area. Recessed zip pockets with attached Velcro patches are attached to the upper arms. In addition, there are sunglasses loops on the right and left of the upper arms and on the chest. Adjustable cuffs with Velcro.

Named after Tasmania’s highest peak, Platatac’s OSSA jacket is a waterproof breathable hard shell. The solid color versions are made from our their proprietary fabric, Platatex. The waterproof properties of Platatex are complimented by the small amount of stretch in the material.

The fully seam-sealed construction, hideaway hood and weatherproof zips on the two upper bicep pockets with pile velcro fields, two upper chest “anorak” style pockets, internal pocket with media port and two handwarmer pockets make this jacket usable across of range of roles, missions and environments.

Dutch Army Buys Additional Equipment from Elbit Systems

The Dutch Army has awarded Israel’s Elbit System a two-year contract worth $65 million for additional soldier systems items.

As prime vendor for the Dutch VOSS (Verbeterd Operationeel Soldaat Systeem) or Improved Operational Soldier System program, Elbit Systems provides the Armed Forces of the Netherlands with body armor, load carriage, man-pack E-LynX Software Defined Radio systems, RAPTOR wearable computing units, and Command and Control capabilities.

Australian Army Awards A$30 Million Standing Offer Deed to Sea To Summit

Recently, Western Australia’s Sea To Summit has increased their development of defense products, attending several international military shows.

We caught up with them at DSEI in London a couple of months ago where they told us they were up for a tender from the Australian military for field equipment.

They’ve just been awarded a A$30 Million Standing Offer Deed for field equipment which includes “includes shelters, sleeping bags, adventure training, hand tools, and personal protective equipment for ADF personnel in Australia and overseas.”
