PHANTOMLEAF from Germany is not new as a company, but this is the first camouflage pattern available in civilian use. Otherwise they work with authorities and provide them with specialized camouflage solutions. But together with Leo Koehler the first uniform has landed in PHANTOMLEAF.

Yesterday in the Hague Netherlands, the European Patent Office (EPO) once again confirmed that Cleveland-based Team Wendy’s European patent directed to its CAM FIT™ Retention System was valid and entitled to a priority date of at least October 2012. The opposition to Team Wendy’s patent was filed by ABG Intellectual Property Law, S.L. against Team Wendy’s sister company that owns the European Patent, Intellectual Property Holdings, LLC (IPH). Although the identity of ABG’s client was not disclosed during the opposition, evidence submitted by ABG directly pointed to FECSA SL, a Spanish company that has been attacking Team Wendy’s CAM FIT™ Retention System IP for more than two years. The EPO found ABG’s opposition unsuccessful on all grounds and Team Wendy’s patent – European Patent No. 2874512 titled “Helmet Retention System” – shall be maintained as granted.
Team Wendy CEO Jose Rizo-Patron said that Team Wendy invests heavily in unique, innovative products and systems designs and will continue to aggressively defend its intellectual property. “We are very pleased with the ruling coming out of the EPO. It is regrettable that this particular company chose a path forward that the EPO has declared a dead-end in lieu of investing in their own design and development. Our IP is firmly grounded and this attempt to have it invalidated was rejected out of hand by the EPO,” he said. “The CAM FIT™ Retention System has been tremendously successful and remains the gold standard for tactical helmet systems worldwide.”

LONDON, Sept. 11, 2019 (DSEI STAND S-7 310) — L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) has been awarded contracts from two European nations totaling more than $100 million for Falcon manpack and handheld tactical radios. Deliveries of the AN/PRC-158, AN/PRC-160, AN/PRC-152A and AN/PRC-117G radios are underway, with completion expected in 2020.
The L3Harris AN/PRC-158 multi-channel manpack radio features a two-channel, software-defined architecture with integrated cross-banding between waveforms – providing new advanced capabilities while maintaining backward interoperability with legacy radios. The AN/PRC-160 is a stand-alone solution that provides data speeds up to 10 times greater than other existing high frequency radios. The AN/PRC-152A is a wideband networking handheld radio that provides simultaneous voice, video and data in a small form-factor, with ad-hoc capabilities. The AN/PRC-117G manpack is software defined, easily upgradeable with new waveforms such as MUOS, and is also NINE Suite B encrypted – allowing users to securely and easily interoperate with U.S., NATO and regional partners.

London, 11th September, 2019: Drone Evolution launches its new patented rotary UAV protection technology at DSEI 2019. Named SafeFlight, the system protects delivery drones from being jammed and its titanium shell protects it from a variety of external forces.
Using a range of navigation systems, SafeFlight can switch between them if it comes under attack, meaning that it can always stay on course for its destination. The titanium shell ensures it remains lightweight but impervious to small arms fire and laser attacks. Anti-jamming systems in the motors mean that they also remain resilient to electronic interference.

Next up is the X-Kettle Set. The bottom is mettle and will take direct flame. This kit contains an X-kettle and two mugs nested together.
The X-kettle has a 1.3 liter capacity and weighs 885 grams, collapsing to just 35mm high. This color is only available in the military version.
Haifa, Israel, September 10, 2019 – Elbit Systems DSEI 2019 display (booth S-2 120 and Royal Navy booth) will include new wearable devices for the dismounted warrior. As warfare becomes increasingly networked, Elbit Systems’ new devices address the requirement from infantry commanders and soldiers to enhance their interface with Command and Control (C2) applications, with other force members and with external sensing assets, thereby stepping-up situational awareness and combat effectiveness.
Expanding the Company’s DOMINATOR warrior combat suite, the newly launched set includes four devices that integrate seamlessly with radio systems and with Battle Management Systems: SmartEye – a head-mounted C2 display; Smart WristView – a wrist-strapped C2 display; SmartSight – a C2 add-on to weapon sights; and SmartNVG – a C2 add-on to Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
SmartEye is ballistic eyewear that provides dismounted commanders with a geo-oriented head-mounted C2 display. Projecting a see-through Augmented Reality (AR) symbology on the visor and enabling real-time image detection, SmartEye provides users with instant situational awareness. SmartEye interfaces with multiple visual sources, including weapon sights, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and input from reconnaissance units.
Smart WristView is a compact, low-power, rugged wrist-strapped C2 display, providing warriors with a quick and convenient view of operational data in combat situations without altering weapon’s hold , further enhancing situational awareness and team-level C2 capabilities.
SmartSight is a C2 add-on to most existing day and night weapon sights, projecting see-through AR symbology, laser rangefinder data and a compass onto the soldier’s weapon sight, greatly improving target acquisition capabilities and combat effectiveness.
SmartNVG is a C2 add-on to most existing NVGs providing superimposed AR navigation and operational symbology on any vision imaging system, significantly improving effectiveness in night operations. SmartNVG is compatible with both HDMI and Android.
The complete DOMINATOR warrior suite includes also the recently launched SmarTrack – a situational awareness system for dismounted forces in GPS denied environments.
Montreal, Quebec (September 9, 2019) – Revision—the world leader in innovative head protection systems and soldier solutions—has been selected by the Dutch Ministry of Defence (MoD) to supply Batlskin Viper® P6N helmet systems for Dutch Military Forces. The contract for delivery of approximately 48,800 combat helmets was awarded on a full and open competition basis to Revision. Additionally, a 15-year maintenance and support agreement was established, with an estimated completion date of 2034. The bespoke helmet system, developed to the Dutch MoD’s rigorous performance standards and weight requirements, represents the first major advancement in helmet technology for Dutch Military Forces in over 20 years.

The Viper P6N helmet was developed to the exacting standards set by the Dutch MoD, and was selected in part after extensive user trials – proving that Revision’s helmets are chosen by end-users due to comfort, integration and weight. The Viper P6N helmet shell utilized advanced materials (including Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene – UHMWPE) and processes to exceed high protection standards in a lightweight, adaptable and comfortable system.
